We were all having a good time laughing at an old story of Keefe's antics when the aurenflare went from rainbow colors to black.
Soon the whole area was so dark you couldn't see your hands on your face. I started to panic. Were the Neverseen attacking? Were we about to be abducted?
All my worries vanished when two stupid boys began to laugh. of course. This was something that Keefe would come up with. But where did they get this thing to make the world so dark? After a few minutes the darkness faded and I saw the guys on the floor breathless from laughter.
"What the heck?" I yelled suddenly standing over them.
"It was just a joke!" Keefe said between breaths. "We needed something to loosen up the tension and this was perfect!"
I stomped back over to the log I was sitting on and buried my head in my hands. I loved Keefe so much and I wouldn't know what to do with my life without him but did he not know the thought of being kidnapped still scared me?
"I think I need ti sleep." I said before hopping up and heading back inside. Why did it go wrong every single time?
