~Third Person POV~

Yoichi cried silently, while Aoi did his best to comfort his younger brother. What felt like hours later, the younger Shigaraki finally calmed down enough to look the older one in the eyes.

"What next?" He spoke with as much strength as his frail body could muster. "Don't lie to me to make me feel better. Let's th-think rationally."

Aoi winced as Yoichi's voice broke by the end of the sentence. He didn't want to tell him how bleak their situation was, but Yoichi's surprisingly strong voice left no place for argument. "Fine. I don't know what to do. We can stay here for a bit, gather the food we have left, then..." He trailed off, not knowing how to continue.

Yoichi struggled out of his brothers grip. "We need to find somewhere safe. Australia is a good country, but the police will stuff us in a foster home immediately if they found out about this. They might even put you in jail for... killing... him..."

"Ryunaki deserved to die." Aoi growled.

"M-maybe." The smaller boy whispered. "But that doesn't change the fact that we are alone now."

The two sat in silence for a few moments, until Yoichi broke the silence once again.

"How did you kill him?" He asked, seeming to be genuinely curious.

"I thought you loved him. How can you talked about this so," Aoi struggled to find the right word. "Emotionlessly?"

"He only took care of me because mom told him to. I walked in on them arguing about it once." Yoichi shrugged. "So, how did you do it?"

"You cold fucker." Aoi grumbled under his breath. "Doesn't matter, I don't remember anyway."

"How come?" The younger brother asked.

"I don't know. I just woke up, laying on Ryunaki's corpse. Well, it was more like a pile of organs, or maybe a paste would be a more accurate description?" The older one mused. "All I remember is there were blood splatters everywhere. Oh! My hair was soaking wet, and there was a lot of water mixed with the blood."

Yoichi came to the conclusion before I did. His eyes widened as he realized what happened.

"What?" I whined. "I bet you already figured out what happened. Tell me. I won't waste my immeasurable IQ to figure this out."

"Quirk." The green eyed heartless boy whispered excitedly. "You have a water quirk. You took it from that girl from before, remember?"

Shock hit Aoi harder than an Asian mom would hit their child with a slipper.

"I forgot all about Yumi." He admitted meekly. "To be fair, I was more worried that mom might kill you if she found out about your quirk than about some random girl I saved two days ago."

"Would she really?" Yoichi whispered sadly. "Would she really hurt me because of a quirk?"

"Yes. She would." Aoi answered blankly. "I'm sorry Yoi, but quirks are rare and scary enough to force people to do unthinkable things out of fear. You saw how Shiriya reacted to the news last week."

"Well, yeah..." Yoichi blinked back tears. "But she really loved me... right?"

The older male remained silent. He didn't have an answer to that question. He didn't know what Shiriya's true opinion about the weakest member of the Shigaraki family was. Maybe she was pretending, maybe she did love him, but they would never know.

Nomu finally unfroze, and made his way towards the two brothers. He whined softly nudging Yoichi's arm with his wet nose.

"Hey Nomu." Aoi patted the dogs head softly, not letting go of his brother with the other. "What do you think we should do?"
