~Third Person POV~

"So let me get this straight. You killed your father who killed your mother, and now the two of you are on the run from the law, in addition to having quirks." Yumi recounted.

"Pretty much." Yoichi shrugged from his spot on the floor. "Oh, don't forget that the three of us are trying to find a way for me to eat properly too."

Aizawa blinked. "I see..."

The girl wasn't sure what to say. Her first ever friends turned out to be criminals. With her luck, she wasn't surprised.

Suddenly Yoichi spoke up. "Oniichan? What did you mean when you said that mum and dad abandoned you?"

A few seconds of silence has passed. During Yoichi's explanation, Aoi has been laying near the bags quietly. Yumi was almost convince he was asleep before he answered.

"I said nothing. Shiriya and Ryunaki loved me. I was blessed." He growled. "I'm sure they cared for me. They just never showed in. I know they did though..."

His voice soon trailed off into incoherent mumbling.

"Sorry." Yoichi looked at his brother sadly before directing his attention back to the black haired girl. "He is a bit delusional when it comes to our parents love. Sometimes it seems that he breaks out of it, like when he screamed at me earlier today, but most of the time he is like this. He convinced himself that our parents loved him, even though they clearly didn't. I feel so sorry for him."

Yumi hummed as a response, not sure quite what to say. One brother is physically impaired, the other is mentally impaired. What did I get myself into. She shook her head. Then again, I'm no better. Just looking at water reminds me of that day, while the mere drop of blood leaves me frozen in fear.

"It's 11:29pm already." The younger brother looked at the clock on the wall as he spoke. "Do you not have school tomorrow?"

"No. I have never gone to school before, so the government gave me two weeks to get used to this before sending me off." Aizawa responded.

"That's so cool!" Yoichi fanboyed. "I have never been to school, even Oniichans, so I didn't know it could do that."

"I have never gone to school either to be honest." Yumi scratched the back of her head nervously. "I don't want to go. It's scary as it is to live here. All those other people, social customs, and... emotions. Bleh."

"Aw c'mon. Is being stuck inside all day really that amazing?" Shigaraki said in annoyance.

"My whole life I was busy trying to stay alive to be bothered whether I'm inside or not." The girl hissed.

Yoichi leaned back against the wall. "True. Well, I wasn't."

"Lucky." Yumi sighed.

"Not really." The boy looked into space, as if reminiscing memories. "My dad killed my mom in front of me. Now me and my brother are on the run from the police because he killed dad. My first time properly outside, and these are the circumstances."

"I guess both of us had shit childhoods then." The ravenette grinned.

"Wise talk for a nine year old." Yoichi teased.

Aoi snorted. "Says you."

"Finally decided to join the conversation?" The younger brother grinned.

The older brother sighed. "No. Now go to sleep. Not having the school in the morning doesn't mean you should mess up your sleep schedule."
