"Haitham! Seriously, how slow could you get?" Kaveh sighed and dragged Alhiatham along behind him. The blonde was visibly upset and very impatient now. "We are just going to meet tighnari and cyno, and we're 30mins early." Alhaitham caught up with Kaveh and placed a hand on his fiancés shoulder.
"It's their anniversary and I wanted to get them a present. So h- wait...I shouldn't ask you for help with this." Kaveh pinched his brows together with a soft laugh. Alhaitham rolled his eyes and kissed the architects ear. "Well, I personally think cyno would love whatever I choose."
"Well that's cause you two have horrible sense of interior design and humor." Kaveh blushed as Alhaitham kissed his ear, "how about this, you get one for cyno and I'll get one for tighnari." Kaveh at a stall that they passed by. "I saw you staring at something just now, so please don't get something super duper ugly. Okay?"
"Okay!" Alhaitham sounded way happier then the general public was used to. The two of them split up for a couple of minutes to get a gift.
🫖time skip to uhhhh on their way to Tighnari's house cause me sleepy🫖
Kaveh held a potted plant that fit Tighnari's taste, and Alhaitham held a wrapped up gift. "How bad is it, that you have to wrap it up?" Kaveh raised a brow and glanced at the mystery gift.
"It's not that bad." Alhaitham said as he stepped onto the bridge that connected the houses at Gandharvavile. Slightly(very) afraid, Alhaitham held onto Kavehs hand and continued walking.
"Kaveh, alhaitham! You two are sure early." Tighnari greeted as he opened the leafy door. Cyno was setting up the dining table, the aroma of mushrooms and other vegetables and meat wafted into their nostrils. Kavehs stomach growled, practically begging to be fed. Kaveh placed a hand on his stomach and blushed in embarrassment. "Hahah, seems like I forgot to eat lunch." Kaveh smiled and looked at Alhiatham at the corner of his eye, knowing what will happen next.
"Nari, Kaveh, alhaitham, let's eat." Cyno said as he placed down the dishes of food. Tighnari nodded and walked to the table. The fennec wrapped his arms around Cyno's waist and kissed the general. "Thank you, my flower." Tighnari mumbled and sat down.
Kaveh held back a laugh, this was a side of Tighnari he had never seen before. All loving and calm, no sass or sarcasm.
The four of them sat at the table, chatting and eating. "Oh, we got you two gifts!" Kaveh finished up his food and stood up. After the rest had finsihed their food, Alhaitham and Kaveh gave the pair the gifts they got them.
Tighnari smiled and inspected the leaves of the plant out of instinct. While cyno...
Well let's say he loved it, and Kaveh questioned everything that led up to this point.
