"Shh, it's alright...I'm here with you. All the way." Tighnari held onto cyno tight, his arm wrapped perfectly around cynos chest, the other combing the soft white locks. "I know...it's just..difficult.." cyno relaxed into tighnaris arms, the calming sensation washed over his body.

"Mmm...your doing very well.." tighnari moved cynos bangs(is that what they're called?) hair to one side, soft kisses on cynos neck and head. "Love you.." His eyes suddenly heavy, the feeling of fear swept further away by the soothing voice of tighnari. "Love you more..." tighnari kissed cynos cheek, laying back down with cyno still in his arms, basking in his warm body.

-the next day-

"Nari..." cyno rolled out of bed, his hair fluffy and tangled. Tighnari turned around, his eyes looked at cynos sleepy face. "Hmm? What's wrong cyno?"

"If...one day the spirit takes over...will you stop me?" Cyno leaned his head against Tighnari shoulder, his arms wrapped around the fennecs waist. "Well...it depends. What would happen?" Tighnari brushed cynos hair, cyno leaned closer. "It would...destroy things...people...I wouldn't be able to stop it.."

Tighnari stopped, he placed the brush down, his hand cupped cynos cheek. "I would stop you...but not kill... if I did. I might as-well die along with you." His smile comforted cyno, sighing and hugging tighnari tighter.

-years later.-

"Cyno!" Tighnari called out, his legs weak from how far he had run. Cyno turned around, his face obstructed by his hair. "What? Why are you here? Didn't I tell you...that I might hurt you..." cyno backed away, throwing his spear as far as possible. Tighnari tried getting closer, but he noticed cynos hand charging with electro. "I...why are you still running? We contained the spirit long ago...it's gone... Please cyno, come back..." Tighnari moved his hand to his belt, holding a picture of them when everything was simpler. "Don't you want to see her again? Colleis ready for patrols...but she wants you to be with her for her first..." tighnari held the picture of them infront of cyno, his ears dropped down.

"Your house is a safe place...and I am not...safe... every time I see a traveler from a distance...I can hear the spirit telling me to hurt them. I don't...I could barely contain myself...just leave me tighnari.." cyno rubbed his forehead, the heat getting to him. "But look at you now! We're talking...your completely fine..." tighnari moved closer, not caring if he was about to get shocked...not that he hadn't been electrocuted before. "Please cyno...come home..."

Cyno backed away again, but he lost his balance and fell. Tighnari got closer, his tail flicked impatiently. "I...can't. What if I hurt collei?! Our friends? I don't want to hurt anyone tighnari..." cyno gave up on running away, he just sat there, legs pressed against his chest.

Tighnari clenched his fists, a small ball of dendro formed. "DON'T YOU GET IT?! YOUR...your hurting me..." tighnari unclenched his fists, tears formed at the corners of his eyes. "Nari..."

"SHUT UP!" Tighnari shouted, he fell onto the sand, his ears twitched. "Nari...I...I'm sorry..." cyno moved closer, he hesitated, hugging tighnari, he felt the tears fall onto his shoulder.

"Why do you run...your fine...it's just fear that you feel..." tighnari cried, his voice cracking.

"I...I don't know..." cyno stroked Tighnari a ears, trying to comfort him. "Alright..." cyno bit his lip.

"I'll come home..."
