on the island there was not much other than overgrown vegetation and the odd insect or two. however, hidden behind the thick canopy of trees, there was a secret bunker. the crow king landed at the entrance to the bunker and entered a secret code. the ancient mechanism had not been opened in many years and the gears creaked and groaned as they spun to life. the thick door made of a metallic material slowly opened, revealing a large staircase leading down. the crow king glanced around, confirming that no one was around and walked down the stairs. once he got to the bottom of the stairs, there was another large steel door. he entered yet another secret code and the door lifted.

as the door opened fully, the crow king was greeted by a loud cackling coming from the end of the following corridor. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! never thought I'd see you again. hero." the laughing voice mocked.

"cut the nonsense. I have a favor to ask of you." the crow king said walking closer to the source of the voice.

"as if I'd EVER help the likes of you. not after you left me here all alone. you never even came to visit me once."

"oh i think you will help me." the crow king reached the end of the corridor and placed his eye right up against some steel bars. behind which the most dangerous creature the parliament knew of was tied up and restrained. the crow king looked the prisoner in the eye and coldly asked, "archaeopteryx, how would you like to kill a god?" even through the darkness of the bunker, the crow king could see the intense interest archaeopteryx now had. smirking, he said "I'd love to."

"ahhh. its been so long since I've moved my wings." archaeopteryx said as he stretched after the crow king had freed him from the restraints. "so, hero. what's the plan? if there's any?"

"ok so. step 1, I blow up the parliament house using high power explosives in order to get rid of the members of parliament. however, pterodactyl is stronger than that, a little boom won't kill him."

"and that's where I come in right? swoop in and finally get to kill pterodactyl. I like this plan except for one tiny issue."

"what's that?" the crow king leading archaeopteryx out of the bunker.

"I think that the bombing stage is a waste of time. I think you know better than anyone that i can take the whole parliament on at once " archaeopteryx said, still stretching his winds and talons.

"its been a long time since you fought anyone at all, and the current members of parliament are stronger than the ones you fought back then. its because I know your strength so well that i propose the bombing." the crow king mentioned with a look of conviction on his face and continued walking out of the bunker.

"you know I could kill you right now if I wanted to right?" archaeopteryx asked after a while of walking in silence behind the crow king.

"if you had wanted to kill me, you would've done so a long time ago. you hate pterodactyl more than you hate me and right now I'm your only shot at getting to kill him. you wouldn't kill me, not right now" the crow king replied as his eyes narrowed from the intense glare of the sunlight. after spending so much time in the bunker his eyes had adjusted to the darkness.

taking a deep breath and sighing, archaeopteryx reminisced " there's the intelligence that helped stopped my rampage. with so much intelligence and experience in dealing with me, I think you'd know very well. expecting me to wait to fight? not gonna happen!" having said that archaeopteryx took off at max speed towards avian island with nothing but violence on his mind. sighing, the crow king took off after him but not before taking a small detour
