It was snowing outside when the group of five boys headed out of the main entrance to their school. "This is wonderful," Mattheo said in awe as the white flakes fell upon the cold skin of his face. He stared at the sky, watching the blue collide with the white.

"Have you never seen snow before?" Theo asked, smiling ear to ear as he crouched down to pick up some snow with his gloved hands.

Mattheo shrugged. "Didn't go outside much as a child."

Lorenzo sighed. "No offense, but your childhood sounds miserable."

"It was," Mattheo replied, turning his attention back to the sky. He didn't even hear the loud chuckles coming from Theo as he formed a perfect snowball in his hands. He launched it straight at Mattheo, who turned just in time for the snow to hit him in the face.

Theo and Enzo erupted in laughter as Mattheo stared at them in disbelief. He crouched down and picked up some snow before tossing it at both of them. "You're going to regret that, Nott!" Mattheo told as he took off to chase Theo down.

"Oi!" Someone yelled from a distance. "No one can bully Nott without inviting me first!"

Lorenzo laughed as Draco stomped towards the snowball fight, Blaise right behind him. Enzo picked up a large handful of snow and rushed to smear it out into Draco's face. "Oh, this is war," Draco snickered before lunging out to grab onto Lorenzo's jacket.

Before they knew it, a whole fight had broken out. Every man for themselves. It didn't stop until Mattheo finally felt as though his payback against Theo was enough, and all five boys were heaving for air.

Lorenzo flopped down into the tall snow. It didn't even hurt him. Theo joined him, and soon, they were all sprawled out on the white ground. "What are you guys doing for Christmas?" Blaise asked, trying his best to look at his friends from where he's laying.

"My parents want me to go home," Lorenzo sighed, "I would've preferred to spend it with you lads, though."

Draco huffed. "My father would never allow me to spend Christmas here."

Blaise nodded, turning to look at Theo who's fallen awfully quiet. "Nott? Mate are you listening?"

Theo took a deep breath and sniffled a bit as a product of the cold weather. "I'm staying here," he replied quietly. He turned his attention to Mattheo. "And you?"

Mattheo let out a deep sigh, pausing for a moment before he finally opened his mouth. "I'm staying too."

A smile spread across Theo's face. "Yes!" He grabbed Mattheos shoulder, shaking it lightly. "You and me for Christmas, baby!"

Mattheo snorted out a laugh, quickly grabbing some snow from the ground on the opposite side of where he's laying next to Theo. He tossed it at Theo's face. "Don't be a moron."

"Hey!" Theo squeaked, wiping the snow off his face.

Lorenzo shook his head at them, a bright smile on his lips.

Christmas inched closer, and the five boys spent as much time together as possible before the holidays began. "What would you do if I got you a present, Nott?" Lorenzo chuckled as he neatly wrapped a present he'd brought for his mother. "Would you give me a kiss?" He joked and poked his lips out towards his friend who furrowed his brows at him in return.

Theo glanced at Enzo's wonderful gift-wrapping job and then back at his own. His present barely looked like a present anymore. He groaned in frustration.

The boys all went to Hogsmeade together, buying gifts for their loved ones.

"Here." Draco pushed himself in between Lorenzo and Theo, who looked equally surprised to see him. He handed them each a small box. "Thanks, Malfoy," Theo said in shock, inspecting the small present with his eyes.
