jisung was recording the new album with seungmin today, so minho was in the training room alone.

well, until felix and hyunjin showed up.

"hi minho, how are you doing?" hyunjin asked

"been better, how about you guys?"

"what happened hyung? did someone make you sad?" Felix asked

"maybe, I don't know."

"where's jisung? shouldn't he be with you?" hyunjin asked.

"oh, he's recording an album with some other idol. he said that when we were texting yesterday."
felix said to his boyfriend.

"oh, okay? let's just practice." hyunjin said and he put his bag on the chairs.

they started dancing, but minho couldn't focus. he was messing up one peculiar move every time they repeated.

"okay, that's enough." hyunjin said and stopped the music.

he then sat Minho down on the chair.

"what are you-?" Minho started but hyunjin cut him off

"what is happening with you? you're never distracted. you never mess up the moves. what happened?"

"that's none of your business hyunjin."

"listen here mate, it's my business. you're my friend, and you keep messing up because of something on your mind. we can help you dude, but you have to tell us."

minho just sighed.
he wasn't the person who talked about their feelings.
but hyunjin was right.
maybe they could give him some piece of advice.

"I did.....really bad thing to someone I care about, and I don't know if I can ever fix it."

"what did you do?" hyunjin asked minho, while Felix sat beside minho.

minho sighed.
"I told someone that they are just an distraction for me. I told it to someone I loved with all my heart. It happened kind of a long time ago, but I never really realized what I had done until yesterday."

*he called someone just a "distraction"? that was what he told Han when they broke up!*
Felix remembered.

"do you regret it?" Felix asked.

"of course I do. this person was my whole world, and I watched as he broke down in tears in front of me, his eyes begging me not to do this, and I didn't do anything."

"what even happened? what put you into a situation that you had to call someone dear to you a "distraction" ?" hyunjin asked.

minho sighed again, burying his head in his hands.
"It was just before I started my trainee period here. I thought that I had to fully concentrate on my dream, and that I couldn't allow myself any distractions. for some reason I thought that he was a distraction too."

hyunjin just sighed.
"let me get this straight, you dated someone, you LOVED them, but when you got into JYPE, you thought that they would distract you, so you just broke up with them."

minho just nodded in shame.

"you're kind of dumb dude, not gonna lie."
hyunjin said.

"what did you just-"

"before you put me inside an air fryer, hear me out.
if I was you, and Felix was your partner, I don't think that I would break up with them. was he willing to stay with you trough the training period?"

minho thought about it.
"y-yeah, I think he would."

"and you said that you loved him."

"I did, very much."
