"it was the same thing, the exact same thing that happened to will last year. and look at this. looks at the body temperatures." nancy explained, pacing around like mike once had.

"he likes it cold." will said. the temperatures read 96.2, 96, 95.8, 95. showing they steadily got colder and colder in the time frame of an hour and a half.

"okay, so this crazy old woman who was eating fertilizer-" mike began. "mrs. driscoll." nancy repeated. "right. yeah, mrs. driscoll. what time was this attack?" mike asked.

"last night." nancy answered. "right, but what time last night?" he reiterated. "around 9:00." she responded. "you waited all night to call?" jonathan asked. "i was waiting for the doctors to run some tests." nancy brushed off, turning to face the six sitting in front of her.

"you weren't there?" will scolded. "well, i'm here now, aren't i?" jonathan responded. sam feeling awkward watching two sets of siblings argue back and forth, let alone a couple too.

"hallelujah." nancy scoffed, earning an ooh from lucas.

"um, so, wha-what time was your...sauna test?" nancy asked. "around 9:00" everyone answered in unison, like this was a routine thing to repeat. "well, that proves it. that proves my theory." nancy said. "she's flayed, just like...billy." sam agreed. "flayed?" jonathan questioned.

mike nodded. "the mind flayer, he flays people. takes over their mind. once they do that, they basically become him."

"if there are two flayed..." lucas began. "we have to assume there are more." will added. "always assume the worst." sam mumbled, pinching the bridge of her nose.

el's eyes widened in realization. "heather." she stated. "billy was doing something to her. she was scared. she was screaming. bad screams." el explained. "what's a good scream?" lucas questioned. "max said-" el began, before max quickly cut her off. "doesn't matter." earning a suppressed grin from sam.

"i'm sorry, i'm lost. who is heather?" nancy asked. "she's a lifeguard at the pool with me." sam replied. "heather holloway?" nancy asked, earning a nod from all three girls. "tom." nancy and jonathan said in unison, looking at each other in disbelief. "holy shit." sam groaned. she remembered her meeting with tom when they accidentally crashed their dinner party with billy.

"what?" nancy asked.

"tom. heather's dad. we met him the other night. it was brutal." sam said. "i'm sorry what? you met tom?" nancy asked.

all three girls nodding again. "the other night. when we were looking for heather. we went to her house..." el explained.

nancy suddenly had an idea. "their house. do you remember the address?"

sam blinked a couple of times. "what?"

"the holloway's. do you remember the address?" she repeated. "yeah, yeah. i remember the address." sam nodded. "will you be able to direct us there?"

"yes, i can." max said. "great. get your things let's go." nancy ordered, everyone running out into the driveway. she unlocked jonathan's car, everyone piling in, everyone except for sam who had to get in the trunk with mike and will.

"seriously?" mike said. "welcome to my world." will replied. "this is ridiculous." mike complained, and sam rolled her eyes. "do you only ever complain?" will letting a loud laugh out. "seatbelts." nancy instructed, clipping her hair back.
