once the pool had closed, sam led them back inside through the employee only entrance. they were quickly ushered into a dark room, hiding in it as billy passed by to go to the locker room. "okay we're clear." sam said as billy was out of sight.

"that was close." lucas said, letting go of air he didn't know he was holding in.

"too close." mike agreed.

"relax." sam told them. "nothing bad is going to happen to you guys when i'm here..." she trailed off as they rounded the corner and immediately saw another entrance into the locker room. the place was much more peaceful when there weren't kids and adults running around crowding the space.

"get in your places!" mike quietly exclaimed, sam grabbing her sister's arm and pulling them both to the darkest corner near the sauna. the group all hiding as mike began to speak on the walkie, ducking down in an attempt to stay hidden from when billy walks in.

"doors!" mike whispered.

lucas nodded. opening and then quickly shutting the squeaky door.

"pool's closed." billy said, just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"now!" mike cued. sam following through locking him in the men's lockers.

"hey. do you hear me? pool is closed!" billy called, walking further away from his original spot.

"lights!" mike replied. will quickly shutting off the lights. everyone quickly getting to their spots.

everyone watched as mike silently prepped himself. "billy!"

"who's there?" billy replied. the group all looking to each other waiting for the moment billy would furiously storm in.

"billy!" mike taunted in a sing-songy voice. "who's there?" billy copied, growing louder.

mike laughing, further taunting billy. "billy!" he repeated. she heard a shower curtain rip open, and then slowly shut. each sound making her heart pound faster. she wouldn't show it, but she was scared shitless.

"you think this is funny, huh?" billy said. mike continuing between laughing and calling his name out. "come and find me." mike urged.

"i find you, it is your funeral." billy warned. "come and get me. come on!" mike continued, slowly pushing the door open from his corner, letting it shut.

sam squeezed max's hand in efforts to keep her calm. billy was quick to storm in afterwards, making max squeeze sam's hand in return. they probably looked ridiculous, sam thought, squeezing each other's hand in the dark in fear of their step-brother. they watched as he stopped and saw the dummy, it's front facing the window inside the sauna.

"got you." he said, laughing and smiling very maniacal. "come and get me, you piece of shit." mike taunted again. billy swinging the door open, then pausing to fully walk in, grabbing the dummy by the neck and holding it up.

"hey. behind you." mike finally said. the realization it was dummy finally meeting billy's head. he quickly turned around, throwing the doll down. el standing there. "hi." she said. throwing him backwards into the tiled wall.

"now!" mike ordered, everyone running out of their hiding spots.

once everyone was in preparation to fight off billy, el shut the door quickly, mike, will, and lucas sliding a metal pole and chain to lock him in. billy grunting and trying to bust his way out, but he just wasn't strong enough for the chains. he grew very furious.
