Prologue

"Good morning, people of Cedreno. This is Lenane Bertorius speaking, your great and only informant here in the bustling metropolis of Cedreno. A new year, a new life—welcome, everyone, to the year 2130. Since last year, we can proudly declare that Cedreno has officially become a society after the near-extinction of humanity. This new year is particularly joyful as it marks a period of significant achievements. We have successfully brought about the resurgence of humanity, and at present, we number almost a million strong. I am confident that soon we will occupy the entire expanse of Cedreno, and in the future, further expand our city. It's been a year of immense accomplishments, and the outlook for our community is promising. "

"Nevertheless, all of this is made possible thanks to the wise counsel of Cedreno. They spare no effort to ensure that none of us repeats the mistakes of the past, steering us away from our downfall. I understand it may seem intrusive, but it is through the efforts of the Cedreno council families that we have managed to construct this sprawling city amidst the desert. We owe them our lives, and it is to them that we attribute our successes in the year 2129."

Secondly, regarding defamation, public figures, and especially the Cedreno council, should not be criticized. Those caught committing such offenses will be sent to correctional facilities."
