summary: sayings aren't statements but instead they are questions and there are two options.
a once great city now reduced to nothing more than ash and ruble, all though the ninja had made peace with the serpentine. that didn't stop some of them from planning an attack from the shadows. millions were killed in the crossfire but not all of them were civilians, Sensi Wu had been killed ( for real this time ) while trying to defend the monastery, the ninja had later found his body ripped apart near the monastery doors. nya had also gone missing during the main battle. each of the ninja took Senis death differently. Lloyd had already lost so much but this still hit him very hard and he just couldn't process it right away. kai felt like he had lost his parents all over again and would often lash out at his teammates and Nya's disappearance wasn't helping either. Cole felt like he had failed his whole team, he had lost master wu once but he at least was able to get him back, but this time wu was really gone, and he knew it. jay, he still did all he could to lighten the mood, for he had learned to keep his emotions hidden down deep but with Master Wu's death and Nya's disappearance. he wasn't so sure how much longer he could keep bottling it all up. Zane, he didn't know what to feel. almost of all of his most valuable memories had been with Sensi Wu and having him suddenly gone, it just didn't feel real. Zane ended up turning off his emotion meter in the end. about 2 weeks after the attack, the ninja had found a safe place to stay. it was the old Sarmari x cave. it hadn't been used in ages so they had to do a little bit of cleaning up. they had also been taking turns patroling what was left of the city and see if there were any survivors, so far they hadn't found any and it was already hard enough making their way around the destroyed city because it was now overrun by serpentine, celebrating their hard-earned victory. about a week later they all sat around a table devising a plan on how to get their city back, or at least drive the serpentine out.
kai - maybe we could try to break them from the inside? That worked before, didn't it?
Lloyd - yes, but how are any of us going to be able to get in there without being spotted, you and I have both seen how closely they monitor the borders. we have already lost 1 of us and I'm not going to lose another.
kai - I know, I know. but there just has to be another way in. like an underground subway system.
Lloyd - they have already made sure to block any other ways in, if anything sneaking in isn't an option.
cole then cut in.
cole - maybe we should try a more direct attack? if we use our elemental powers we could take the city back.
Zane * emotionless - I would not advise that Cole, such a move could result in one of us being captured or worse, killed. and if you haven't noticed they have placed Venegstone strategically around the city in order to prevent something like this.
