jay didn't know what to think as he stared down at the darkness below. he couldn't help but wonder if he jumped would he fly? would anyone be there to catch him if he didn't? but out of all the questions one stuck out to him the most, would anyone care if he fell or would they just go on with their lives like nothing happened at all? almost as if he never existed at all. After all millions of people died every day but despite all that life still went on and eventually, those people were forgotten, if he died would it be any different? or would he just be forgotten like so many others? no one remembers the people who lived normal lives, it is only the people who did something big that were remembered. had he done anything like that? something to be truly remembered by? now if Jay asked any of his teammates that question the answer would have been yes, the answer would always be yes. what was the point of even trying if one day you are just going to be forgotten?

what is the point if all you will ever do will one day amount to nothing as if it never happened at all? what's the point of eating if you just going to become hungry again, what's the point in being careful if you're only going to get hurt? What is the point in making friends if one day you going to end up alone again? jay knew he was going down a rabbit hole that he shouldn't be but he couldn't stop himself and it wasn't long before one particular question popped into his head. What is the point in living if one day you are just going to die? to be forgotten? jay knew that despite what his teammates told him that he caused more problems than he could solve.

jay knew very well if he died he wouldn't be honored like the rest of his team, he knew he wouldn't be remembered as a true hero, instead he would just be Jay the Blue Ninja. and that's all he would ever be.

if he jumped would he fly? would anyone care? after all the city didn't need him, who they needed were true heroes who could get the job done without getting in the way, and he was not that person.

jay just continued to stare down into the darkness but this time a new question struck him. Did he want to fly? if he jumped would be perfectly okay knowing if he hit the ground it was game over? he already knew the answer as he leaned closer the the edge.
