The next morning, Chase woke up very early to watch the strange dog get up.

?: What... what? Whe..where am I? What.. what is this place?

Lost in his thoughts, he looked around with sleepy eyes. Chase noticed that the stranger was up.

Chase: Ryder the puppy woke up!

The boy jumped up suddenly.

Ryder: Okay, I'm going up.

Ryder answered in surprise, but there was a little joy in his voice.

Chase: Good morning. Now will you tell me who you are and where you come from?

Chase stood in front of the strange dog.

?: Wait, that's a bit too many questions, don't you think?

She asked with tired eyes.

Chase: Yeah, sorry. So what's your name?

He sat down in front of her.

Menta: Menta. Your name?

Menta sat up and was now watching Chase.

Chase: Chase. Where are you from?

Chase's curiosity started to annoy the girl, but she answered easily.

Menta: I'm just a stray dog.

Chase: Where did you get the wounds?

Although this question came as a surprise to them, they are used to it being one of the first questions.

Menta: The wandering life is not so easy. I had to fight many dogs to have something to eat.

Then Menta heard a strange sound. It was the elevator that Ryder stepped out of. He walked over to the two dogs and crouched down.

Ryder: Hi, I'm Ryder. What's your name?

He asked the dog covered in wounds in a kind voice.

Menta: Menta. What is this place.. uh.. and why am I here?

Menta started to get nervous as the human child approached her.

Ryder: This is the watchtower of Paw Patrol. We brought you here in the evening because you passed out.

Ryder noticed Menta's distrust.

Menta: I understand, I'm going, I don't want to spend much time here. When do you want to let me go?

She was getting more and more nervous.

Ryder: Are you going somewhere?

Ryder became increasingly curious about Menta's past.

Menta: No.. not really, I just go here and there from one city to another.

The girl tried to stay calm, but she couldn't stand the proximity of people.

Chase: So you're wandering around?

Chase's serious tone surprised Menta.

Menta: Yes. But can I go? You don't want to send me to the asylum?

Menta's heart was beating faster and faster.

Ryder: We won't send you any peace of mind. We will find you a home.

Menta: At home?

Menta looked at Ryder with round, longing eyes. The girl was happy that she would finally have a normal family. His heartbeat also started to return to normal.

Ryder: Yes. I'll tell Marshall to check on you. OK?

Ryder stood up and walked towards the elevator.

Menta: Okay.
