I woke up tired as hell from last night. I really beat that bitch ass so bad.

"You have a collect call from an inmate at Stone-gate Correctional Facility. To accept this call and speak with the inmate, please press 1. To refuse this call, please press 2. To hear the charges associated with this call, please press 3. Please note that all calls are subject to monitoring and recording." I heard as I picked up my phone and pressed 1

"Hey J" I said as I answered

"What's this I'm hearin bout a nigga pulling a gun on you?" He immediately asked

Mack really couldn't shut his mouth, ion even think it'd been 12 hours.

"No idea what you're talking about" I responded, rolling my eyes

"Diamond I keep telling you to stop with that stripping shit" he argued

"Well since Mack told you this, did he tell you how him and yo friends were the ones encouraging us to get on stage? Or did he tell you he said my new years show was fire?" I asked with an obvious tone in my voice

"..."

"Exactly!" I responded to his silence

"You need to accept I'm 24, I'm my own person" I told him

"And you need to accept you'll always be my lil sister. It eats me up knowing I left you all alone with nobody" he admitted

"You did what you had to do and it is what it is, you got 3 more years left, you'll be fine, we'll be fine" I reassured him

I was working again tonight so I took a long shower and moisturised my whole body.
I dressed in some sweats and brought my makeup and other shit in my duffel bag.

"Hey, Keisha, how's everything going?" I said to my neighbour as I walked out of my door

"Oh, girl, it's been a crazy day. Work has me running around like crazy. And you, how's life treating you?" She asked me

"I feel you. Work at the club's been non-stop, but you know I love it. By the way, your place is looking really nice. Did you get new decor or something?" I asked as I peeked through her open door

"Thanks, Diamond! Yeah, I've been trying to spruce it up. Just wanted a little change. Speaking of work, I heard you've been tearing it up on the dance floor as usual."
