Seven days. Seven long, miserable days, and I was still in this hellhole. I was sitting on the cold ass bench in the interrogation room when Reynolds strutted in like he owned the place, a cocky grin plastered across his face."You enjoying your stay? Diamond?" He smirked
"What do you think"
"I'll tell you what I think- I think you're gonna get real tired of this place. And I think you're gonna start talking real soon"
I laughed, "nigga yo dumbass don't know me"
He leaned in close, his voice dropping into a low whisper. "I got friends in high places, Diamond. Pulled a few strings to make sure you stayed right here. You should've been out on bail with everybody else, but guess what? I can keep you in here for as long as I want. Unless of course, you decide to be smart about it."
"You're wasting yo damn time" I clenched my fists
"You think Malik or Jamal will crack? But you? You're just close enough to both of them, I know you got the goods. I'll keep you in here until you talk. Believe me."
"Fuck you" I stood up
His smirk faded, replaced by that cold look on his face. "You'll be begging me to get out of here soon enough"
I was tired of this nigga talking, tired of sleeping in a cold ass cell and before I knew what I was doing, my fist flew out and connected with his dumbass face. His head snapped back and he stumbled.
"You're gonna regret that, bitch!"
Next thing I knew, they had me dragged outta the room and thrown into solitary. The cell was smaller, colder and felt more like a box than the last one.
Malik's Perspective:
The warehouse was barely lit, most of my men were here and Jamal and his niggas were gathered around due to recent circumstances. I was on the phone with my lawyers and my patience was wearing thin.
"You're tellin me it's gonna take a month?!" I growled into the phone, my hand clenched around it like I wanted to crush it.
"That's the fastest we can get in front of a judge ," my lawyer responded, trying to sound calm, like that was gonna stop me from losing my shit. "They're clearly handling the entire process illegally, especially since they didn't read you your rights when you were arrested and now they're illegally withholding bail from her, but we need to get it all in front of the court."
"A month?" I repeated, "Man, what the fuck am I paying y'all for?!"
"We've filed motions Malik, these things take time"
I cursed under my breath, throwing my phone down on the table. The whole room went quiet as I paced around the building.
"So what's goin on with Diamond?" Jamal asked, his voice sounding concerned as hell
I ran my hand over my face. "They got her in solitary"
"Solitary?" Mack echoed, lookin shocked, "Fuck is she in solitary for?"
I smirked, shaking my head, "She punched that Reynolds nigga."
"Nigga what?" Jamal's eyes opened wide
"I'm hearing she laid that nigga out" I laughed
"Ain't no way" Khalil responded in surprise
"I woulda done the same shit" Marquis chimed in
Mack grinned. "That girl crazy as hell."
"Yeah, but now they got her boxed in, and they're trying to use her against us," I said, feeling that same anger rising again. "Reynolds know I ain't gonna snitch, Jamal ain't gonna snitch. None of y'all gon snitch. So he's trying to break her down, think she'll flip."
