They proceeded along the path. They made it to the Midnight Desert. They were met by a winged creature. A pair of multicolored eyes stared back at them.
"My name is Naimi Selari Nykantia. But they call me Nyx. I am an emissary of the dragon queen. She sent me to look and see if I could find her egg. But it looks like it's too late for that." Nyx said pointing at Zym.
"Make your point." Rayla said. ''I am here to take Azymondias straight back to his mothe-" "NOPE." Rayla interrupted. "You are not taking Zym." "Forgive me, but I can take Zym to his mother in 2 days!"
"Sooooo not happening." Rayla said. "And how about you, Mr. Silent Stalk over here?" "I agree with Rayla." Callum said. "Then how do you plan to cross the Midnight Desert?" Nyx argued. "Do we look stupid? We're going around." "Going arou-" Nyx burst into laughter.
"You... hahaha.... you would waste a week 'going around' but if you would like, I can take you all across." Rayla looked at Callum. Callum looked back and nodded.
"Fine." Rayla said.
