Chapter 30: Defeat & Despair

Adzima POV

After hearing Falco's statement, Zalgo burst into a terrifying laughter. His mocking only made the tension worse as we faced an enemy who seemed impossible to defeat. 
Zalgo:"Insects like you... Want to defeat me? Hahahahahhahahahaha!" 
Then he started facing us. 
Zalgo:"I want to see you try" 
As Zalgo spoke, a magic circle appeared around him, forming a binding ring. Chains emerged from the circle, wrapping around Zalgo's body and rendering him immobile. Falco then suddenly appeared in front of Zalgo, quickly swinging his sword. Unfortunately, the attack had no effect on Zalgo. 
Falco:"Tch!!" 

Zalgo struggled to free himself from the chains, but Tetron's magic held him very tightly. Meanwhile, he was also being attacked by ink rats and paper bees that bit and stung him relentlessly sent by Aditya and Andhika. Arvin threw glass shards into the air, and Riski making them grow big and multiply, then directed them to rain down on Zalgo like a hail of sharp projectiles. Ramadhan and Fian used their incredible speed and agility to dash and attack Zalgo from all angles, while Ryan launched rockets from his hands that exploded upon impact. The Troublemakers and Falco unleashed their full power on Zalgo, leaving us watching in awe. 

Anjas:"Wow! They really know how to react fast in situations like this" 
Dwiyan:"Well, they have Captain with them, so of course they have to act quickly" 
After Dwiyan's comment, we realized, and I urged our group to act. 
Adzima:"Guys! What are we doing? We need to help them!" 
Everyone nodded, and we ran to join The Troublemakers and Falco to fight Zalgo. Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy as we thought. Even though we all attacked Zalgo at the same time, none of our attacks were able to badly injured him. To make matters worse, Zalgo was nearly free from the chains restraining him. 

When Zalgo finally broke free, he released a powerful force that threw us back. 
Riski:"Damn it!" 
Tetron:"Sorry everyone, he's too strong, even for me" 
Adzima:"Don't worry about it, Tetron. It's us who shouldn't have let you hold him back alone" 
Fian:"Got a plan, Captain?" 
Falco:"I am still thinking" 
Zalgo then began launching a counterattack, and all we could do was dodge his strikes. We couldn't block his punches, and our attacks seemed useless. 
Aditya:"Arvin!!" 
Arvin:"Still thinking too, sorry" 

While we struggled to dodge his attacks, Zalgo laughed maliciously and mocked us. 
Zalgo:"Hahahaha!! Is that all you've got?" 
Zalgo:"You pathetics bugs!" 
He accelerated his attacks, making it almost impossible for us to avoid them. Many of us were hit, but fortunately, no one was seriously injured. 
Zalgo:"This is so fucking boring" 
He then raised his hand, and we all felt an impending sense of danger. We quickly jumped back as an enormous amount of power gathered in his raised hand, forming a large energy sword. 

Zalgo swung his sword down with all his strength. Falco tried to block it with his own katana, but his weapon couldn't match Zalgo's. Falco's sword shattered in an instant, leaving him unprotected. Zalgo's sword then struck the ground, creating a massive shockwave and a huge crater where they had been standing. Zalgo then continued by punching Falco right in the face so hard, sending him flying several meters. 
Everyone:"Captain!!!" 
We shouted, our voices filled with concern. Falco responded, his voice panting but firm. 
Falco:"I am okay" 

We could hardly believe what we were seeing as Falco stand there. The punch had destroyed his glasses and knocked off his cap, revealing his true identity. His hair was dark auburn, and his eyes were sharp and narrow. Falco was actually Fadli, our long lost friend who we thought had died, had been with us all this time. 
Adzima:"What??? Impossible!" 
We couldn't believe what we were seeing. Then, Zalgo suddenly appeared right in front of Fadli. We were so confused and shocked that we didn't know what to do. Zalgo wasted no time and immediately grabbed Fadli by the neck with his claws. 
Tetron:"Shit!!" 
We all rushed to help Fadli, but Zalgo blocked us, preventing us from getting close. He then stabbed Fadli in the chest with his sword, and I screamed. 
Adzima:"NO!!!" 
I didn't know what happened next, but when I regained consciousness, I was already holding Fadli's unconscious body. Zalgo's right eye was wounded, and I passed out shortly after.

Fian POV

Fian:'What the hell just happened!' 
We watched as Fadli was stabbed by Zalgo, and then Adzima's anguished cry pierced the air. Then we saw the broken sword in Fadli's hand release dark miasma, which then formed into a black energy sword. Fadli quickly stabbed the sword at Zalgo's right eye, forcing him to release his grip. A bright light then emanated from Adzima, and when we looked, she was already holding Fadli's unconscious body before she passed out. I glanced at Tetron, and we nodded, then transported everyone back to the mansion. Once we arrived, we immediately took Fadli and Adzima to Fadli's room to check on their condition. How shocked we were when we saw that Fadli's body had no scars or bruises at all when we took of his clothes. His body, even though very pale, but it was very clean like he was never hurt at all. 
Arvin:"How could this even possible?" 
Arvin:"We clearly saw him getting stabbed in the chest, so how is there nothing, not even a scratch left on his body?" 

Dwiyan:"It seems like everything already healed completely, even the wound he got from Adzima is completely gone" 
Qori:"But this doesn't make sense. No normal human can regenerate this quickly" 
Fian:"I thought we all already agreed that Captain isn't a normal human" 
Fian:"None of us in this team are normal, and Fadli is the least normal of us" 
After checking on them, we heard a notification sound from the hologram room. We immediately went to that room and saw that the computer had finished analyzing something. 
Computer:"Analysis complete. Generating all possible counterattack scenarios" 
The computer displayed various plans, detailing counterattacks for every movement of Zalgo that we had previously faced. The room was filled with the beeping of the computer and the display of schemes and strategies. Clearly, we were now equipped with a comprehensive set of tactics to face our enemies.
