Chapter 20: Sand-Bender Archaeolog

Elsa POV

Adzima was very shocked when Falco collapsed in front of her. The sight reminded her so much of his expression after 'that' accident, but this time, her reaction was even worse, she even started to have a panic attack. 
Aditya:"Why? Is it too late?" 
Elsa:"No, we still have plenty of time because the fire scorpion poison doesn't work that fast" 
Artha:"Then what happened to him?" 
Elsa:"I don’t know" 
Fian checked the syringe with the antidote that Falco had dropped. After a moment, he sighed in relief and turned to Triya, showing her the syringe. 

Fian:"You gave him too much anesthetic" 
We all sighed in relief when we realized that Falco was fine and just passed out from the anesthetic. 
Triya:"Sorry, I panicked too, okay?" 
However, it seemed Adzima didn't hear Fian. She hugged Falco so tightly that she started to cry and panick even harder. We quickly ran over to calm her down before her condition worsened. 
Qori:"Adzima! Listen! Adzima!" 
Ina:"Adzima! Calm down!" 
We called out loudly, because it was clear that Adzima couldn't hear us if we spoke softly. 

Elsa:"Adzima! Listen! Falco is fine; he's just passed out. So please calm down" 
This calmed Adzima, who began loosening her grip and looking at us with a hopeful expression. 
Adzima:"Really?" 
Triya:"Yes! I gave him too much anesthetic, which caused him to pass out like that" 
Triya:"If you don’t believe me, you can check his heartbeat yourself" 
Adzima placed her ear on Falco's chest, and after hearing his steady heartbeat, she finally calmed down. Qori and I then kicked Fian and Aditya, whose expressions clearly showed they were planning something silly. 

Fian:"Ouch, what’s that for?" 
Elsa:"Help Adzima! How long are you going to let her keep hugging Falco like that?" 
Aditya:"Okay, okay, but you don’t need to kick us. You can ask the others for help too" 
Qori:"Yeah, but your faces show you’re planning something stupid, so stop and help Adzima!" 
Aditya & Fian:"Yes, mom" 
Aditya and Fian then moved to help Adzima lift Falco, quickly taking action to handle the situation. 

At first, Adzima refused to let go, but after a bit of persuasion, she released her hold, though she still refused to leave Falco. Triya then guided us to the nearest gazebo and gave instructions to Fian and Aditya to place Falco on the foldable bed. Adzima sat beside the bed, holding Falco's hand as they laid him down. Meanwhile, we stood a little farther away, relaxing in the gazebo. 
Triya:"So, who is he? I’ve never seen Adzima act like this before. Is he her husband?" 
Aditya:"No, more like her Prince" 
Triya:"Huh?" 
We then told Triya what we knew about them. 
Triya:"Awh, that’s so sweet" 

We then explained to Triya why we had come. While we were talking, a rustling sound from outside caught our attention. 
Ina:"What’s that sound?" 
Triya:"That’s a sandstorm. That’s why I built this sand dome" 
Anjas:"You built this place?" 
Triya:"No, just the dome. My ability lets me control the sand at will" 
Dela:"So, you were also the one who sent that sand golem to help us?" 
Triya:"Yes, luckily I arrived just in time for that" 
Qori:"So, about this team, are you going to join us?" 

Qori:"Usually, Adzima would ask this, but since she’s still like that, I’ll speak for her" 
Triya:"Sure, I’ll join" 
Ryan:"Great! Now we just have to wait for Captain to wake up and leave this hellish place" 
Triya:"It’s not that bad" 
Riski:"Maybe for you, but not for us" 
We then heard Adzima scream, making us turn to look at her. Falco was starting to wake up, and Adzima looked so happy. We approached as Falco tried to sit up, groaning slightly. 

Falco looked at his hand still held by Adzima, then smiled at her and gently wiped her cheek. 
Falco:"Don’t worry, Princess, I am fine" 
He then turned to Triya. 
Falco:"How much anesthetic did you put in that antidote?" 
Triya:"I panicked, sorry" 
Falco:"Okay, okay" 
Falco:"Can you open the dome, please?" 
Triya:"But there’s a sandstorm outside" 
Falco:"The storm has passed, don’t worry" 
Triya opened the sand dome surrounding the oasis, and Falco was right—the sandstorm we had heard earlier had definitely passed. Fadli then worked on a small computer on his wrist, and soon the jet arrived and landed outside the oasis. 

Dwiyan:"I thought you said this place couldn’t be seen from the air?" 
Falco:"Yes, but I have a transmitter in my body, so the jet can track our coordinates" 
Falco:"Let’s go" 
Falco got into the jet and headed for the cockpit, but we stopped him. 
Fian:"Wait! Are you sure you’re going to fly the jet? You just passed out from the anesthetic" 
Falco:"You are right, I still feel a little dizzy too" 
Falco then activated something in the cockpit. 
Falco:"Computer, take us home" 
The jet's system powered on automatically, and the jet began its flight back home. 

Falco held his dizzy head during the journey, and Adzima, sitting next to him, patted her thigh and smiled at him. 
Adzima:"How about you lie down again, my Prince ?" 
Falco:"Are you sure, Princess?" 
Adzima, still smiling, nodded. Falco then lay down, using Adzima’s lap as a pillow. Triya, who was observing this, asked again. 
Triya:"Are you sure they’re not married?" 
Aditya:"No, at least not yet... I think" 
We let them rest while we chatted quietly so as not to disturb them. After arriving home, Adzima signaled for us to stay quiet and asked us to exit the jet without waking Falco, who had fallen asleep on her lap. Adzima gently stroked Falco’s cheek while gazing at him with love and longing. I quickly took a picture of that beautiful moment with my phone before leaving them, only to realize I wasn’t the only one; the others were also capturing the moment.
