|Grace Camron POV|

As I sit on my bed with my guitar in hand I can't help but think of all the memories I've made in this house...

I've been asking myself for the past week why I'm not happy to be moving.

Well maybe it's because it's not some small move....

Right now I currently live in Boston Massachusetts that's in the United States.

My dad currently works for the government but somehow got a job offer in the UK. He proudly took the offer and didn't really give any of us say so.

By us I mean my mom, me my brothers Grant and Josh.

I'm sure my brothers aren't entirely enthused about the move but they haven't really said anything about it.

I continue strumming the strings of my guitar on my bed until my bedroom door swings open.

" I just got off the phone with your new school counselor and she sounds amazing!" My mom said.

I gave her a slight smile then looked down at my bed.

" what's wrong honey?" She asked.

I gave her a blank stare and honestly asked myself if I had the energy to express what I was feeling.

" are you excited about the move?" I asked her.
She smiled and walked over and sat on the edge of my bed.

" yes and ... no but this job is a once in a lifetime opportunity for not just your father but for you and your brothers as well." She said softly.

" what If nobody likes me?" I asked her.

"Grace why in the world would anybody not like you? You're an amazing athlete ...you can sing just as well as Taylor swift in my opinion.." she trailed off.

" mom stop" I laughed.

" what I'm serious! You're a very talented person Gracie." She said.

"Thanks mom. I just want everything to go okay and hopefully they don't make fun of me for being American." I laughed slightly.

"Allison I'm home!" My dad shouted from downstairs.

My mom stood up off my bed and handed me some boxes out of the hall and told me I should start packing.

This is going to take forever.

* TIME SKIP (3 weeks later)*

"BYE!!! SEND US PICTURES FROM THE PLANE!!" My grandmother yelled from the gate at the airport.

We all said our goodbyes then boarded the plane.

My dad booked everyone first class tickets so everyone would be comfortable on our 18 hour flight.

As I sat down in my seat my brothers took the seats that were in front of me.

I pulled out my AirPods and turned on my music not loud enough for everyone else to hear though.

Then reality set in and I realized that this would be that last time I would be in the states for probably a couple of years unless we came back for holidays.

As the plane got ready for take off I opened my window shade and took in the last view of the Boston airport.

As we lifted off into the air I let out a slow breath not realizing I'd been holding it.

Everything is about to change for the better or for the worse.
