Chapter Seven

|Nick Nelson POV|

I have honestly been a mess and am trying to process everything that has happened recently with my relationship with Charlie.

We broke up and that's just supposed to be that...

I hope he's getting better though and is happy.

For some reason though I've found myself distracted recently.

There's this girl ... and she's seriously all around and I don't even think she means it.

Grace Cameron. She quite .... Odd in a sense.

It's been four weeks and so far from observing of course, I know that Grace hates attention but she doesn't mind standing up for herself or others.

She loves Taylor Swift... and oddly rugby?

I know she has two brothers I want to say she's the youngest but I could be wrong...

God I seriously need to get a life... I mean I have one a great one actually I just feel like I'm using Grace as a distraction and I seriously need to stop thinking about her.

|Grace Camron POV|

I'm walking through the halls with a new friend I made! His names Ben hope, and he is a seriously great guy.

He has a girlfriend her names Imogen and she's nice too.

Imogen ever so nicely, invited me over to her house later today for a project we're working on in art class.

" I'm seriously horrible at geometry ." I said to Ben walking to my maths class.

" It's not that hard once you actually learn how to work through the problems." Ben laughed.

I sighed and told Ben bye before entering the classroom.

About halfway through the class the door swung open and in came in Nick Nelson with a note in his hand.

" and what do I own you the pleasure of Mr Nelson?" The teacher asked him.

"I was told I was switched to this maths class sir." Nick said politely.

The teacher looked at Nick up and down and told him to just sit wherever he'd like.

He sat down at a desk one row behind me on the opposite side of the room.

Class continued and I swear im not getting any of this!

When the hell am I'm ever going to be measuring the circumference of a square beside in this awful classroom?

When the class finally ended thank god it did I walked down the hall to my locker to grab my things and head out to the rugby field with my brothers and the other boys and girls.

Well first I went to the changing room and changed into my rugby clothes then I headed out the field.

Josh and Grant were with some of their friends and some year 10s.

I gathered round with the girls team which honestly has some work to do but they're getting better.

After 45 minutes of practice we decided to take a break and that's when I noticed Nick Nelson staring at me through the fence.

We held eye contact for about 3 seconds before I turned around and walked over to the water station.

Rugby practice was good overall but I was super tired.

I was walking out of the changing room and accidentally walked right into someone.

" I'm so sorry!" I yelled. I looked up to see Nick Nelson smiling down at me.

I gulped then stood up.

" um... I should get going.." I muttered and he gave me a weird look.

" where you off to so fast?" He asked. I turned around to look at him and said, " is it really any of your business Nelson?" I questioned.

He put his hands up in defense and smiled again.

" sorry for asking." He said softly.

I didn't Awnser him and I walked back over to the maths block.

I was supposed to be meeting Ben to talk about homework.

I was walking when I Hurd a voice call my name. I looked back and saw Ben kind of hiding in a corner...

Odd but okay.

" hey so you have the science homework right?" I questioned.

Ben nodded and got into his backpack.

After we chatted for about 12 minutes I noticed his demeanor changed.

I wondered what's on his mind.
