Chapter Twenty One

| Nick Nelson POV|

" Nicky, don't forget the lunch I packed you!" My mum yelled.

I grabbed my bag then shut my bedroom door. I started walking down the hall when suddenly David turned around the corner.

I stopped. He looked up at me then, looked me up and down. " I still don't understand why mum decided to let you take the car out today." He said hatefully.

I sighed and didn't really know what to say back. I didn't want to make fun of him because to me that's going as low as him.

I just walked passed him and of course he shoulder checked me. I closed my eyes for a moment then continued walking.

I walked down the stairs and grabbed my lunch my mum made for me and put it in my bag.

I turned around and seen my mum standing there smiling. " now Nicky.... Please drive safe and call me if anything happens." She said. I smiled.

" thanks mum, I will." I told her. "You're welcome darling be careful please!" She said as I walked out the door.

I got into the car and started driving to school.

When I got there I parked and started walking to my first class.

On my way in I happened to see Tara, Darcy, Issac, Elle and Tao.

" oh my god Nick! How are you?" Tara and Darcy said coming my way. I smiled.

" I'm quite well actually, it's been awhile since I've seen you guys." I said happily.

" did you hear Charlie's back in town?" Darcy asked me.

" Darcy!" Tara yelled. " what?! I was just wondering if he knew." Darcy replied.

I thought about Charlie and a slight pain came to me and I tried to stop thinking about him.

" yeah I've ..... Hurd.... I um have to get going but it was nice talking to you guys again." I told them smiling then walking away.

I seriously don't know why they brought up Charlie it's not like he wants to get back with me plus, I have a thing going with Grace.

Which I'm not sure Charlie knows about.

I'm trying to move on and everyone else needs to to.

At least that's what I try to tell myself ...

I'm walking to class when suddenly a very familiar voice said my name. " Nick.." I stopped and turned around.

" ....Char..." I mumbled. He smiled.

| Grace Cameron POV|

I started walking away I seriously don't understand why I thought him and Charlie were over.

Suddenly I hear someone calling my name.

" Grace!" Nicks voice echoes through the corridor .

I stopped. I tried my best to be happy and not sad.

" hey," Nick grabbed my hand and I looked up at him.

He looked at me with soft eyes then cupped my cheek.

" what's wrong." He said. "Ar-.... Are we done.." I mumbled. He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.

" .... No ... I don't ever remember us having that conversation.." he said softly kinda of grinning.

" b- but I seen you with..... Charlie and It looked like you guys were a thing-" I rambled.

He now put both of his hands on my face and it took my by surprise. He positioned my face to look at him and I Just closed my eyes.

" look at me." Nick mumbled. I opened my eyes and for the first time today I let Nick see the tears rolling down my cheeks.

He immediately wiped the tears away from my cheeks.

I smiled. " me and Charlie are just friends... you have nothing to worry about, becides Charlie told me he met someone.." Nick said.

I nodded. " okay... I believe you.." I said softly.

Nick then leaned down and kissed my lips.

I pulled away after what felt like eternity.

But I'm not complaining. We talked and we decided to go talk to the rugby coach about our spots on the teams.

I waited outside as Nick was talking to the coach.

After 10 minutes Nick walked out with a big smile on his face.

" you're lucky she likes you.." I mumbled walking to open the door just then, Nick stopped me.

" no need." He said with a grin.

" what did you do?" I asked him slightly worried but proud.

" I just got our spots back on the teams." He said walking closer to me.

I wrapped my arms around him and we kissed.

I seriously hope kissing Nick feels like this forever...
