Chapter Seventeen

| Grace Cameron POV|

" can I kiss you?" Nick whispered his face already so close to mine.

" yes." I said softly and Nick just went for it.

The moment our lips touch it was like everything else around us didn't matter anymore.

I pulled away and looked at Nick.

We looked at each other once more before I found myself leaning in this time.

Our lips started moving together and my hands found there way into nicks hair.

Meanwhile nicks hands were placed firmly on my hips.

Then I got pulled back to reality and realized what was happening... " Nick Stop." I mumbled.

He immediately stepped 3 inches back from me and looked at me with worried eyes.

" are you okay? Did I do something wrong?" Nicks eyes softened and he started to look sad.

" .nick no no you're amazing it's not you.... I just.." I looked away from Nick.

" are you sure you're single because if not please just tell me-" Nick cut me off.

" you have nothing to worry about I promise.. me and Charlie are done and we have been for awhile." He said.

I just thought for a moment and I need to tell him how I feel.

" I- I really like you Nick." I said not looking at him.

I could feel him looking at me. He walked back up to me and took both of my hands in his.

" I like you too... a lot actually." He said. I smiled and shook my head.

" come on let's go dance." Nick said pulling back into the party. " ohh noo I don't dance atleast not infront of anyone.." I told him.

" me neither.." he said then grabbed my hand and started dancing. I automatically laughed when I seen what I was working with.

" you really need take dance lessons Nelson." I told him.

" oh like you could do any better?" He laughed.

I smiled. " you're right but there is one thing I know I can beat you at." I said to him.

" oh really?" He smirked and walked closer to me.

" mhm and you're about to find out.." I ran the opposite way of Nick and could hear him chasing after me.

I ran outside and could hear Nick calling my name.

When he finally caught up to me he was out of breath.

" I knew you could run fast.... But damnnnn." Nick huffed.

I laughed. " whats so funny now?" He asked walking closer to me.

" dont take it personally but you kinda look like a tomato right now." I told him.

He bit his lip and shook his head.

" am I an attractive tomato at least?" He asked.

I shoved him slightly. " don't get cocky on me Nelson." I said walking away from him still smiling.

" so I'm assuming you're done with the party." He said.

" Yeahh I'm not really a party person plus I didn't want to get drunk because then I'd never find my way home." I said. Nick laughed.

We walked for hours just walking around the streets which probably wasn't safe but in a way Nick made me feel safe around him.

I looked down at my phone and stopped.

" there's no way we've been walking around for 3 hours talking.." I said. " has it really been that long?" Nick asked looking down at his phone.

" shit I should probably start getting home... my parents wake up early." I told him.

" let me walk you... it's dangerous out here at night you know." He said wrapping his arm around me.

" fine but only because you're warm and I'm freezing!" I told him wrapping my arms around him.

We finally reached my drive way which was quite long itself but I told Nick I'd just go alone.

" I had fun tonight." I told Nick. He smiled.

" me too.. I'm sure we'll see eachother again though." Nick said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes.

" well im tired so I better get going." I told him.

We held eye contact for a moment then I started walking away.

It was about 5 seconds before I turned around and shouted for Nick to stop.

When I caught up with him I smashed my lips against his.

He kissed me passionately before I let go.

" goodnight.." I mumbled looking into his eyes.

His thumb brushed against my lower lip as he smiled and said " goodnight." Back.

I can't believe that I kissed Nick Nelson or that he kissed me...

When I reach my window I slid it open and climbed through.

When I turned around I nearly jumped back out the window.

" AHHH Grant what the hell?! You scared the shit out of me!" I yelled at my brother then I realized. Shit.

" so where have you been?" Grant asked me while he sat comfortably on my bed.

" it's almost 4 in the morning why are you in my room ?" I asked him ignoring his question.

" I Hurd you outside dumbass." He said standing up off my bed.

" next time you decide to sneak out invite me along okay?" He said walking out of my bedroom.

Wait So he's not mad!? Okay I seriously need some sleep.
