Chapter Sixteen

| Nick Nelson POV|

Im suspended from school for 3 days and am banned from the rugby game this afternoon.

Who knows if they'll even let the team play. Josh got captain after I told coach I would like to step down.

I'm still going to Harry Greens party afterwards though so hopefully the guys can fill me in on what happened.

Even if I didn't get to play rugby today I still wanted to watch Grace play.

I wonder if she's going or to Harry's party maybe not. I thought to myself.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sat on my bed.

I went to Instagram and clicked on graces profile.

I hit the message button and started typing.

Me: Are you going to Harry's party tonight?

I hit send. Why didn't I just say hi first? I wonder if she knows about the fight with Ben.

Oh shit the fight with Ben... she going to hate me..

I layed back on my bed and sighed. I don't want her to be upset that I fought him it wasn't her fault.

I just knew something happened between them and it's been negatively affecting her ever since.

My phone dinged.

I looked at my phone and seen Grace had replied to my message.

I sat up and opened instagram again.

Grace: Are you going?

Me: I was planning on it. I was hoping to see you there.

I sent the message and immediately she seen it.

Grace: I need to talk to you about something. So yeah I'll see you then.

I read the message over and over again trying to figure out what say back.

Me: Is everything okay?

I asked hoping she'd just tell me what was on her mind.

She read the message and then didn't respond...

I hope she's okay.

As I read nick's message I just staired at it then turned off my phone.

I got done shopping with my mom it was kind of nice.

And then we headed home.

" hey mom can I ask you something?" I told her.

" yeah honey what's on you're mind?" She said.

" I was wondering if maybe... possibly could I go to a party tonight.. pretty please." I begged.

" a party? Where?" She asked.

" one of the rugby guys houses , and before you say anything I know I know." I whined.

"Im okay with that as long as you're dads okay with it to." She said.

I groaned. " you know he's never gonna let me go!" I whined.

She laughed and shook her head.
