I quickly packed my things and walk away. I can't stay here anymore. The more I see Gunar the more I pity myself.

For the meantime, Im going to stay in a friend house for a few days.

"I'm sorry for bothering you Dean. I just don't know where to go." I apologized.

"What are you saying? You always welcome here. You can stay here as long as you want. And please, don't think you are a bother to me. I'm your friend Chai."

"Thank you, Dean."

Dean is the only friend I have. He knows everything and always stand for me.

"If you don't mind, what's your plan now? It's not easy to just runaway, you know." he asked.

"For now, I need to talk to my dad first."

"What if he forced you to go back to that jerk Gunar again?"

"I won't."

"What you can do?"

"Believe me, I want to live a better life this time."

"Okey, just tell me what could I do to help you."

"Yes. Thank you so much again."

"Do you want beer or something to eat?" he asked to change the topic.

"Yes. Please a can of a beer will do."

In the morning, instead of going to work. I call and asked my assistant to do the presentation I made. I don't want to see Gunar again. Last night, I already decided to hand my resignation today after I talk to my father this morning. I went to our old house without any invitation.

"Sir Chai, good morning." our maid greeted.

I just nod to her. "Where's dad?"

"He's having breakfast in the garden." she replied.

I can't believe my father live the best of his life while I'm suffering in paying his debts.

I walk toward the garden to see him. "Good morning." I greeted.

"Why you're here? Supposively, you're in the company right now, working."

"Come on dad, are you not missed me? Are you not happy to see me now?"

"Come back to your work. Don't play around." he scold.

"Why? Are you afraid I couldn't pay your debt?"

"Chairette!" he burst.

"Relax dad... Im just here to give you this." I handed a brown envelope to him. "This is what you want right? The house tittle."

He look at me in disbelief.

"The only reason you still nice to me, is because of this document right. It's all yours now. I will sign the change of ownership but you have to give me the copy of my marriage contract."

"What are you talking about?"

"Im willing to exchange. I know its not registered yet. Just give me the copy and the other documents attached to it."

He look at me confused but in the end he ordered the helper to bring the document to me.

"Why do you need it?" he asked.
"Are you planning to register it yourself?"

"Is that important to you?" I asked back.

"Don't do things you might regret."

"I already regret when I let you manipulate my life."

"I don't have a choice."

"What kind of father are you? Forced your only son to a marriage to free yourself from your responsibility. You're horrible dad. You let me suffer all this time while you're here peacefully living." I bursted in anger.

"You bastard! Who do you think you are?! You have no right to speak to me like that! You are just my son, damn you!" he said in anger before he hit my face with his fist.
