A few days after, our helper reached me and told me about dad being sick.

"Dad." I greeted when I visited him in the hospital.

"Your here Chairette. My son, I miss you." dad said smiling.

"The first time you told me that."

"Im sorry."

"Why just now? It is because you  laying in that bed now?"

"Chairette, son, please forgive me."

"Which of your sin do you want me to forgive you? Which one dad? For selling me to Gunar? for not a good father to me? Or for controlling my life?"

"Chairette, I know how bad I'm to you."

"I don't know why you hated me that much dad?"

"No, I'm not hated you, is just that everytime I see you , I remembered your mother. My beloved wife, who cheated me and even in her death she didn't chose me."

"Its not my fault dad, it's your fault, why mom cheated you."

"I know. I'm the problem." he said in lower voice. "Are you back for good?" he suddenly asked.

"No. I'm just here to tell you that  I begged Gunar to let the house with you. I did this because I know that's the only thing you have. If someday you sell this again, I dont know if I can do anything for you again dad."

"Chairette, I'm sorry."

"If you really sorry, can you at least change for the better dad?"

"I try."

I sighed.

"Are you back with Gunar?"

"We're trying to fix our relationship." I said honestly.

He smile. "I know Gunar is the right person for you son. He can give you the life you deserve."

"I have to go. He's waiting for me." I said instead, before dad begin his drama.

"When will you visit me again?"

"I don't know." I honestly said.

"I hope someday you can forgive me."

"I hope too dad."

After visiting my dad in the hospital. I really felt exhausted, so I told Gunar to drop me home first.

"Are you okey sweetheart?" he asked when he noticed me silent.

"Yes." I nod to Gunar.

"Did you tell him what you want to tell?" he asked again.

"Yes. He also say sorry to me, but why I can't feel the sincerity?" I said.

"Its fine sweetheart don't force yourself. Let the time heals everything." Gunar said and hold my hand.

"Gunar, can you please help me settle his hospital bills." I said after a while.

"Yes, don't worry about it. I handle it myself sweetheart." he said smiling.

"Thank you." I smiled back at him.

"You're always welcome sweetheart."

He drop me off in my apartment to get some rest. "I see you later sweetheart. I just need to sign some papers in my office first."

"Okey. Drive safely."

"Let's have a date tonight."

I nod and smile.

"I love you." he said.

"I love you too." I replied.

"Rest well." he said and kiss me on the forehead.

I nod and kiss him on the kiss before going out to his car.
