I chose to keep my silent while we're on our way to my place. I never thought I come back to this time dealing with this man again.
"Why so silent?" Gunar asked.
Instead of answering him, I kept looking outside the car.
"I'm asking you. Do you want me to force you to talk?"
I sigh. "There's nothing to talk about, so please concentrate in driving." I said coldly.
"So, you still know how to answer." he said smirking.
"Mr Hayes, I'm here to do work for your company. So, if you don't mind let's maintain that way."
"Sure." He said.
"Thank you. And please drop me in that street. I can manage to walk from there."
"Are you renting an apartment near by?" he asked again.
"I just told you..."
"I'm just asking so I know where to pick you up the day after tomorrow."
"Sir, no need to do that. I will go to your company by myself as for my schedule."
"I guess you forget what you signed. Let me clear this to you, It's indicated there that I provide a service car and a driver for your working hours."
"I know."
"Good, at least you know you have no choice but to tell me where your place is, right? In sake of picking up and dropping out."
Shit! I hate this man persistent.
"Well, if you're too eager, then from that street, the seventh building from the left. Happy?"
"Yes." he said smiling.
"Such an annoying jerk." I said in irritation.
After a while he park the car in front of my apartment building.
"We're here." he said.
"Thank you for driving me home Mr Hayes." I said back while planning to go out in the car.
"How about offering me a coffee perhaps?"
"Im sorry but I don't invite stranger in my house." I said sarcastically.
"I'm not a stranger, I'm still considered as your husband."
"That was before Sir?"
"Chairette, when did you signed a divorce paper? Did you ever remember?" he suddenly asked. "Tell me, did you ever signed?"
I was stunned for a moment, because I know for myself that I never sign any paper, specially a petition for a divorce. I asked myself why?
"It doesn't mean you managed to hide from me, you really forget your connection to me."
"We decided to go seperate way." I said.
"I don't remember agreeing to it."
"But that's unfair. You always live your life the way you wanted, while me, suffering from you?"
"Chairette, whether you like it or not we still had this connection."
"You are inconsiderate Sir. But nevermind, for me you are just my past now." I said and walk fast to enter the building. I heard Gunar calling my name but I ignore him.
As I entered my apartment, I felt the tears in my face again. After a long time the pain that I thought already disappeared now still remain in my heart.
I wish, I didn't see Gunar again. I was already Okey then, but I'm not really sure now. There's a part in my heart still belong to Gunar. And I hate myself for maintaining that spot until now. I admitted to myself, It's hard for me to give that spot to other.
