"Why he's here?" Dean asked.
"This is my husband apartment so technically this is mine too."
"You fucking thick face."
"Hey, hey, please be civil. Don't fight here." I scold.
"Chai, why you let him close to you again. He didn't treat you right back then."
"We already talk about it."
"Then why you believe him that easily?"
"Let me remind you, what we have Chairette is not your business anymore. You are just his best friend but I'm his husband."
"See, he's arrogant as ever."
"Gunar, please let me talk to him first."
"Okey, I let you clear everything to him. I'm in the room if you need me."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome sweetheart."
After Gunar left but landed a quick kiss to my head to show off.
"So, what is this? I just gone for a few weeks but when I return it's all different?"
"We tried to talk everything."
"Are you telling me you're back with him?"
"Not yet, but he's trying to making up."
"Oh, that's definitely the same, in the end you ended up with him again."
"Dean, what's wrong with you? Why acting this weird?"
He sighed. "I broke up with my fiancé who supposively I'm going to marry next month."
"What? You're engaged? When that happened?"
"A week before I flew to Paris."
"Why you didn't tell me?"
"Because there's a hesitation. I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the next level of my life. So I let myself to figure out first before I tell you."
"Then why you broke up with him?"
Last week, I accidentally heard him bragging to his friend about what he did to you in the past. How he harassed you. I suddenly realized, he's not worth it. That, you are more important to me than him. I can't give you up."
"Dean..."
"Now I feel stupid to realize how much I love you."
"What are you talking about? We are best friend."
"Im sorry Chai, but you are more than that to me."
"Dean...
"I'm sorry, I failed to be your best friend."
"Is this connected to what you said about us to Gunar in the past."
"No. That time I'm just protecting you. I don't want that man go near you. I don't want him to hurt you."
"Why you didn't tell me about your confrontation with Gunar?"
"I don't want to worry you anymore. You had enough."
"About your feelings for me..."
"Let it be that way. I know I can't compite. I know how much you still love your husband. You reserved yourself for him all this time."
"Dean..."
"Can we still be friends?"
"Of course, yes."
"Can I still sleep here?"
"Not without me." Gunar interrupted.
"I'm not asking you." Dean fused.
"Stop. Please don't start again." I said in frustration.
"Sweetheart can we eat now. I feel so hungry already." instead Gunar said sulking.
"I brought your present." Dean interrupted.
"Thank you." I replied to Dean.
"Sweetheart." Gunar call for my attention again.
"Okey, I prepare the food. Wait a minute." I said then go to kitchen.
"I'm warning you, I'm watching you." I heard Gunar said to Dean.
"So what?" Dean replied ignoring Gunar.
"Please, take your seat." I said to stop them.
While eating, Dean suddenly become talkative about work. I don't know if he doing that in purpose to make Gunar out of place. But without him knowing Gunar tightly holding my hand under the dining table.
