Despite the sleepless night passed by, Im still manage to wake up early. I saw Gunar comfortably laying deeply in the sofa. I come near him to check if he still breathing and can't help to stare him for a moment. He still look handsome behind his sleeping. His messy hair and face look adorable. It's funny that this man used to be my husband before, but never have the chance to look at him this close. For a while, I sighed to release my thoughts. I need to control myself for not feel this way. He's not mine and never be mine anyway.

I went to my small kitchen and tried to make a simple breakfast.

"You look great there." I startled when I heard Gunar compliment while seating freely in my sofa.

"You're up."

"How come I made it here?" he asked.

"You don't have any idea? I guess you really that drunk." I said while my right eyebrow up.

"I'm sorry for bothering you. But I don't remember anything right now. Did I passed out?"

"I don't know... but next time make sure you go home to your place." I said annoyed.

"Yes, Sir." he said smiling. "What we have for breakfast?" he asked and walk toward the dining table.

"Dont expect a luxurious breakfast. I only have egg and bread here." I said sharply.

"That's enough. Can I have coffee?"

"Make yourself. I'm not your maid."

Gunar just smile before he get his own coffee. If only Chairette know the truth about last night, surely he will get mad.

"What's that smile for?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just a thought." he reply.

"Finish your breakfast quickly, so you can go home."

"You're that itchy to push me out?"

"Mr Hayes, to tell you frankly, I'm not comfortable being with you, especially in my house."

"What do we do now? Of course you should expect me around you always."

"I'll be reasonable if it's about work, but like this, right now..." I protested while shaking my head.

"Remember my right, Chairette?"

"Stop that and don't call me that way."

"I told you, I like to call your name."

"Mr Hayes..."

"Its Gunar for you Chairette."

"Annoying."

"Short tempered."

"Whatever."

Gunar just stared me. "I drive you to your work." he suddenly said.

"No thanks. Just go home and rest." I refused. I don't have schedule to his company today so I think he don't need to bother.

"Don't start to argue, you know you can't beat me."

"But you said last night, you don't know where your car is."

"I remembered now."

"Did you just fool me?" I accused.

"What do you mean? I didn't do anything." Gunar smirking.

I sigh. I can't read this man.

"I drop you off first then I go home to change clothes."

"Do I have a choice?"

"None." he said in determination and continue eating.

"Is my staff treat you right?"

"Yes. They're so kind to me."

"That's good. What about another project with you?"

I look at him, confirming if he just joking. "I don't think so. Maybe we better consider it the first and last." I said.

"Why? I thought you do well with my staff."

"Yes. I have no problem with them except to the annoying CEO."

"Too honest mouth of yours." he said smiling.

I just shrugged.

"Chairette, you can't just ignore me forever. From now on, you should accept the fact that I'm connected to you, whether you like it or not.
