Chapter 9

I been here in front of Hayes Company for a couple of minutes now. I arrived early for the meeting but I can't make myself get inside. I feel so nervous. This morning Manager Lee informed me that she can't make it to accompany me, so I have no choice but to come alone.

I calm myself and walk inside. I went to receptionist to confirm my appointment.

"Good morning. I have an appointment with marketing department."

"Good morning Sir." She greeted back. "Marketing manager waiting for you in his office."

"Okey. Thank you." before I went toward the department.

I knock the door before I come in but to my surprise there's a lot of people inside.

"Welcome back Mr Chai." they said in unison.

"What the..." I was stunned. I didn't expected this kind of welcoming. "T-thank you." I said embarrassed.

"We bought you some present Mr Chai." my former assistant now became the manager said.

"Oh, you don't have to. But thanks anyway." I politely said.

"Mr Chai, can we have a picture of you? If you don't mind before our meeting start."

"Sure. Sure. It's my honor."

After doing them a favor we begin the meeting.

In CEO Hayes office.

"Sir, Mr Cullen arrived."

"He's always on time." Gunar said after looking his expensive watch. "Inform the department that I'll be in the meeting."

"Yes Sir."

"What meeting?" Hiro entering the office.

"Its not your business." Gunar sarcastically said.

"So rude. I heard there's an ongoing welcoming party in one of the department now."

"What a rumor."

"No, it's true. I personally saw the beautiful visitor came in a while ago."

"Why wasting time to roaming around? Are you not busy?"

"Oh, then why wasting time to attend a meeting of the department? I thought the CEO have a busy schedule too."

"Im the boss here, I can do whatever I want right?"

"Sure, I thought so. Here, please sign in this documents first, I know you're itchy to see the visitor now."

"Will you zip your big mouth." Gunar said in irritation and Hiro just laughed.

Im the meeting room.

"Our concepts are depend on what beverage you shoot that day. For example, if the wine is pretty hard then we need a intense look photo." the manager explain.

"What about my costume, the clothes I need to wear?"

"As I said yesterday, I will provide everything." Gunar enterupted.

"Sir..." the manager greeted and grab him a chair.

What he is doing here? I thought I finish this meeting with just the department personnel.

"How are you Chairette?" Gunar asked.

"I'm fine Mr Hayes." I said without looking him.

"Well, that's good to know." he smirk. "Let's continue, as I said everything you need is on us. You don't need to worry, just do your work." Gunar continue while looking at me deeply. As if no one there except us.

"That's good to know Sir. When do the shooting start?"

"On afternoon, the day after tomorrow. I heard you have other appointment in the morning that day."

I was surprised he know my schedule. "O-Okey, I think we are settled now."

"Not yet, I have something important to discuss to you in my office."

"You can discuss it now Sir."

"I'm afraid it's not appropriate. There's nothing to do with my employees."

I sighed. What's up with this man.
