Signing the contract .

I'm woken up from the sound of my alarm, it's 5am . I went to take a shower and started preparing for the contract viewing or whatever . I wore a knee length black pencil skirt with a cream white blouse . I put my big afro hair into a bun and applied lip gloss to my lips . I wore my block black heels, I wanted to impress them since well I won't be interviewed .  The time is now 6:30 am and I know the restaurant opens at eight so by 7:30 I wanna be there just incase . Okay I'm done and I look so fine .

Today I'm not up for cooking breakfast,  Angie will have to forgive me this time . I make myself some cereal and Angie comes in looking so beautiful ." Goodness you look amazingly beautiful, I love that dress "
" Thank you hun and you look sexy yourself, if only that devil hunk could see what he missed, no scrumptious breakfast today ?" She says the last part with a sad tone, I just laugh at her, mind you Angie can also cook but since I came along she's just too lazy to do it .
" good thing he didn't, there's something dark about that man, and sorry hun today I'm just nervous so cereal will do " . She also make herself some cereal, we finish eating and I wash our bowls and we get ready for work .

It's 7:30 am and I'm already at the Urban Bites restaurant, and this place is amazing I just wanna see inside .
" Miss Black ?" A familiar voice says from behind me, I turn around and see Rose, the woman who called me about the offer yesterday . " Hello Miss Rose, forgive me if you're married and please just call me Amelia " I laugh a lil . This woman is a beauty, she extends her hand for a handshake and I gladly shake her hand . Her hand is so soft I wonder which lotion is she using . " Your hand is so soft " I blurt and became embarrassed same time .
Rose just giggled, I guess that's good right . " Thank you dear, and yes I'm a married woman and please call me Rose too, I like you already " . I gave her my sweet smile feeling relieved .
" Let's go inside so you can go through the contract, and dear do take your time to read it and understand okay, and if there's anything you don't like or understand, do come to me ."
We went inside, and like I thought this place is even more impressive inside, I think we went to her office and it's neat and cozy . Rose gave me the contract and told me to relax while going through it .

The contract is so straight forward and the salary is not what I've expected, I get that chefs make money but this right here is a lot and my eyes are stuck on this section thinking maybe it will change somehow, R 114 140,04  damn it's not changing . Maybe I'm not well informed and mind you this is just a starting salary I wonder after three months how much will it be . I look up to Rose, she was busy with some papers .
" Um Rose ?"
" Yes dear "
" I think you guys made a mistake, I mean the wage is just.. are you sure you checked this contract ?" I know I'm blabbing, I'm still shocked . Rose laughed at me and that got me confused even more .
" Darling there's nothing wrong there, and there's more if you keep up the good work and be loyal to our restaurant "
Goodness it's real, where do they get this kind of money, jeez I bet food in here cost an arm and a leg . Would I even be able to make nice food ? I just saw in the contract that I have to come up with new recipes along the way and now I don't know .
" Don't think too much about it dear, if you want a day I can give you that but afterwards you have to give us an answer " . No I need this job I'll figure the rest along the way, so without saying much I sign it .
