Trying again .

Amelia .

I woke up from a horrific nightmare, I glance at my clock and find that it's three in the morning . So I just wake up and take a shower, after a shower I dressed in comfy clothes and went to the kitchen to try on that recipe again . I made a research about certain ingredients and how to mix them and I must say it helped a little and that was enough for me  .

I'm determined to crack this recipe or make something completely different from what they know but I'll make it tasty and unforgettable .
With my new found virgo, I start working .

With two failed attempts I start with breakfast, it's 7 am right now and I know Angie is already up, I made simple bakon and egg with steamy garlic rolls, I made sure to bake them while I was trying the mysterious recipe .

I cut cheese and place it inside the rolls so that it can melt with the heat from the rolls, then I added the eggs and bacon . I pour orange juice inside a jar and add in some sliced strawberries .  I also made some chocolate donuts for Angie . Right breakfast is now ready . I feel like taking a bath again to relax my muscles  ...

" mmh I could get used to this everyday you know, smell nice in here ..oh donuts !!! " Angie yells with excitement rushing for the donuts .. I stop her hand in time laughing at her silly behaviour .

" no, eat first then treats later " I say while hiding some donuts behind me ..I take a seat too and grab my plate .

" yes mom " she says with a pout while glaring at me for hiding her favourite treats .

" Good, you're gonna grow big like your mommy" I say patting my chest, and we both laugh at that .

" mmh this is really nice, the melted cheese and the crunch of this delicious roll, is the extra ? I wanna take some for lunch at work "

" yes there's some leftovers I'll pack that for you " i say and move along to pack her lunch .

" now can I have my donuts please ?" Angie says with puppy eyes .

" Yeah whatever, should I  also pack some donuts also ? "

" yesss pack them all " . I giggle a that .

After some time Angie went to work, leaving me lonely in here . Anyway I also have to cook that fucken recipe .
I need a shower .

After my quick shower I started making a mess in the kitchen again .
I'm left with three days to master this .

" think Amelia, think " I say to myself .

Right now I'm thinking of the impossible but I hope it works .

I took a large pot, I pour water inside and add some rice and let it boil for five minutes then took it out to change the water .

I pour water inside the large pot again, added some water and the very same rice but this time, with some beef bones, chicken, bacon, anchovies, peppercorns, onions and some celery, I also added some spices . Then I let the pot simmer for two hours .

What can I do next ?

After two hours I strain through a sieve into another clean large pot, it smell nice . I left it for now and took another hour thinking .
Afterwards I added some ground sugared almonds and let it to boil .

I also strain through a sieve for the left almonds .

Now I'm left with the egg and the  cream and honestly I don't know what to do with them for real, I just feel like they're unnecessary somehow but hey who am I to complain about some secretive recipe .
I mixed them together and made sure the cream was not too thick, I added a lit bit of salt and mixed well and just left it to the side .

Being a chef requires you to do the impossible .

But still I failed again but I think this time I know where I went wrong, but I'm tired now I'll try again later .

I cleaned the mess I made in the kitchen, afterwards I went to watch some TV to relax my mind a bit .

After an hour an half, I poured water into a large pot and repeated the same routine again, and after two hours I strained through a sieve but this time I left it to stay overnight .. I'm going to bed .
