Being recognized II.

Amelia .

A waiter enters with some starters and drinks, I guess they ordered all this before we arrived .

"Yes we're twins, I'm Ethan and this one here is Nathan " the one with dark blue tuxedo says, he seems kind of friendly and easy going than his brother Nathan, but damn they're handsome.

"Uh nice to finally meet you, Amelia " I also introduce myself but I'm sure they already know who I am anyway .

" you must be nervous? I'm sorry we came up with the unreasonable request" Nathan says while looking at me ...

Why he looking at me like that, it's official that I should be wary of Nathan, and how am I supposed to answer that question.
I clear my throat .

" is that a trick question?" Goodness Amelia what is wrong with you today

They chuckle, even Leo joins them this time .. I look up to Rose to find her already looking at me with a warm smile, she nods at me to assure me that I'm doing okay .. I needed that.

" Uh well I better answer your trick question then, well I am very nervous as you can see, and yes your request was very unreasonable no offense, I mean I almost gave up everytime I tried something I don't know, and in my mind I always thought that ya'll wanted me to fail so that also gave me a push you know to ..." I stop as I notice that everyone was now looking at me and it kinda made me feel uncomfortable ...shit I was rambling

Nathan gives me a perfect smile noticing my discomfort .

"Uh sorry for making you feel uncomfortable and for our very unreasonable request, I think right now we should taste the food and then we'll talk about business and everything else later, shall we ?"

At least Rose came through for me, I didn't have to go to the kitchen, I guess she had something to let the waiters and waitresses know that it's time cause after a few minutes they entered with our meal for our special guests, my heart is beating out of my chest I swear .
I grab a bottle of water and take a few sips to calm myself.

Leo grabs my hand gently under the table, I guess to give me assurance, I squeeze his a little bit before letting go.

I don't wanna lie this White soup or whatever they call it smells nice, it somehow comforts me that everything is gonna be okay .
I even have a plate myself but at this moment I just don't feel like eating .

After the waiters are done preparing our plates, Rose prays for our meal ..well I didn't expect that .

"Amen" we all open our eyes after that short prayer for food Rose blessed us with.

"Well let's dig in, I've been waiting for this moment for quite a while now " Rose says already filling up her plate like a little child eager to taste some sweets . I giggle at that as I join her and fill up my plate a little bit .. I guess everyone else does the same and we get into a comfortable silence . I see both twins giving each other looks before looking at me .

" It smells amazing, I'm sure it also tastes amazing " they say at the same time ...

" woah talk about twin telepathy " I say, we all laugh at that as we dig in.

I'm so nervous but right now I'm gonna enjoy this meal .
Not me and Rose moaning after our first bite, damn it really does taste so good ... the guys chuckle at our reaction while they also enjoy their meal, well I hope so .

Well we are done with dinner, right now we're munching on some desserts, with some small talk here and there.. nothing about how the meal taste anyway . Throughout the meal I noticed the twins giving each other some looks here and there but their faces never gave anything away so I don't know what was that all about .

I ask to be excused as I feel pressed, I really need the bathroom .
I rush to the bathroom and do my business, after that I wash my hands and take a look in the mirror, I got this no matter what they thought about the meal and the whole setup it's okay I got this, damn but I look so fine thou .
I get out ready to go back only to find Leo waiting outside.

" Jeez you almost gave me a heart attack Leo, what are you doing waiting outside the ladies bathroom anyway?"

"I'm waiting for you, we really need to talk Amelia " argh here we go again about the talk shit .

"couldn't whatever you wanna tell me wait? You know very well that today is very important to me and I don't know if you wanna ruin my mood or what but it won't work Leo, and if it's about you leading me on then dumped me to the side for you girlfriend, well it's okay I've moved on from that, they're waiting for me"

I leave Leo right there and went back to the vip room . At least Rose kept them company while I was gone, well Leo too .

"There you are, I'm sure you're wondering how was the meal for us " Nathan says with a serious tone making me nervous all of a sudden, breath Lia breath.

" stop scaring the poor girl Nath, well don't worry Amelia the meal was nice, actually it was amazing "

" I'm sorry, I will do bet... wait what ? You liked it ?"

" we loved it " Nathan says chuckling while looking at me with amusement, he reminds me of Angie oh how I miss her in times like this.

" oh my gosh, Rose the loved the meal" I scream a bit, I mean I can't believe it I did it .

" I did it Rose, I did it gosh" I'm giggling non stop forgetting that I have company .

" oh someone's really happy, wait till you hear what we have for you " Ethan says, wiggling his eyebrows at me .

" well thank you, but how was it really ? I know that it was a family recipe so ?" This is the question I've been meaning to ask .

" It was not exactly the same but it was amazing Lia, can I call you that ?" Ethan asks.

" only friends call me that thou " I tease him, but really only Angie calls me that .

" well it's fine cause you and I are gonna be good friends in the future, the meal was amazing not like my moms but it was really good, close to it and we would really like to thank you for taking your time and energy to do this for us, took us back memory lane " aww I'm getting emotional now .

" like Ethan said, it was amazing and thank you, we have a proposal for you Ms Black and I hope you're gonna like it "
