Day 02

I cried yesterday the moment I entered Gunter Valentine's mansion and saw his kitchen.

It was my freaking dream kitchen!

The very one like any other kitchen but massive (and clean), with two ovens on the side, a third one that came with the gas stove, and every kitchen gadgets I could think of. It also has an island where the sink and dishwasher are in the middle, with both sides being an open counter, and high-chairs on the other side to dine.

Again. My dream freaking kitchen.

At iniyakan ko 'yun dahil hindi ko akalaing makikita ko ito in-person.

Tinour ako ni Calvin sa mala-mansyon nitong bahay, pero hindi ako nakinig dahil na-overwhelm ako sa'king nakita. At dahil rin sa late afternoon nagstart ang Day One kahapon at gabi na nang makarating dito, derecho tulog ang ginawa ko ng makaalis si Calvin para sunduin si Your Highness.

Your Highness na ang tawag ko sa kanya dahil he got my dream kitchen.

Anyway, kung umuwi o hindi si Your Highness, hindi ko na namalayan at ako'y bagsak sa kama after maglinis ng katawan. I mean, natulog ako sa kabilang sulok ng Alaska King Bed niya na siyang ginoogle ko pa kung anong tawag dahil sa sobrang lawak at laki nito.

And yes, kailangang sa kama niya ako matulog due to game's mechanics. Gotta follow since I still need to play the game to win that money kahit na ba walang camera dito, honesto ako.

Anong oras na ba?

I reached out to my phone and see that it's only 5:36am. 

May time pa para magluto ng baon!

"Good morning, Thea!" Bati sa'kin ni Calvin nang makababa ako. Nagkakape siya sa dining table.

"Good morning, Calvin!" Chika niya sa'kin kahapon na I can treat Your Highness' mini-mansion ('yun na itatawag ko dito) as my own. Kaya kung gusto ko raw magluto, kumain, magswimming, mag-jacuzzi ('coz of course he has two -- one in the backyard, one in the room, obviously), mag-gym (dahil may in-house gym siya, obviously ulit), pwedeng-pwede raw. "How are you this morning?"

"I'm well, getting my caffeine for the second time. Thank you very much for asking. I'm guessing you are well too, given your cheery greeting?"

Lumawak ang aking ngiti. "I'm excited 'cause I'm going to be cooking at my dream kitchen!"

That perked him up. "Your dream kitchen, you say?"

"Mhm! I was so shocked when I saw this yesterday. This kind of kitchen has been my dream since ever! And because you said I can use it, you are in for a treat!" I hummed as I made my way to another holy place: the refrigerator.

And I almost passed out dahil fully stocked ito with e.ve.ry.thing!

"I'm only a messenger," he said politely, "It was Mr. Valentine that said it. But I will let him know your appreciation."

Sinilip ko siya. "Yes please! Tell him I say thank you very, very much!" Tinanong ako ni Calvin kung kailangan ko raw ng tulong pero I told him that I could manage.

Wala eh. Nasa Lala Land ako ngayon at ayoko ng istorbo. Moment ko ito with my kitchen -- kahit for a month lang.

"What are you making?" 

"Brunch food. I like bringing my own food to work," dahil kailangang mag-tipid. "Any allergies?"

Umiling siya. "And neither Mr. Valentine."

"Perfect! I'll be done quickly."

"There's no need to rush. Mr. Valentine is already at work, so you can take your time and I'll drop you off."
