~Lucifer~

My eyes open hazily, and I realize I'm still outside. I shiver as the cold wraps it's arms around me. Lucifer purrs as I realize he's pawing at the fish in the lake. "Lucifer! Leave the fish alone." I say, and he comes prancing over. He rubs against my legs and meows at me. "I bet you're hungry. Let's go find you some food shall we?" I Mutter out as I stand up and pick him up, him being slightly heavy. He curls up in my arms, and manages to jump out. "Will you follow me?" I ask him. He meows.

He walks beside me, steps in the same pattern I step. I can't help but take a slight look at Diane's house through the forest, and there's an extra car there. That bitch. A tear escapes me and I chuckle at my weakness. I feel Lucifer jump up and Pat my hip, and I look over and he chatters at me. "Thank you Lucifer." I say with a nod before I wipe my tears and continue walking towards the market. I always loved where me and Diane lived, considering it was right near a market that was open. And everything cost very little. And I knew exactly where cat food was.

"Thank you sir." I say with a nod as I bend down and open the cat food, letting Lucifer eat out of it. I bought several cans, and also bought me some clothes. "That's a big cat there.." he mutters. "I know. He's not that friendly, his name is Lucifer." I say with a nod. And at hearing his name he looks over at the man and hisses before continuing to eat. "Yes, I can tell." He says with a chuckle. "Well, I need to get back home now." I say with a nod and trail off, Lucifer behind me. I feel a sense of being watched so I just start running, Lucifer right beside me now. I look behind me and see the man following me. I run to the only place I can think, home.

I knock anxiously on the door quickly, watching the man catch up. Come on, come on, somebody answer. I pick up Lucifer before he can go try and lunge on the man, and suddenly the door opens. To not Diane, but what I assume her girl. I just rush in beside her and slam the door right before he gets in grabbing distance, and next thing I know, I'm passed out on the floor, Lucifer pawing at my face and meowing while Diane and her girl panic.
