Chap. 27 Berries

"Ayyyyy look what I can doooooo..." Killer said as he held up a Bettle, "Killer.....please...." You said worried as you knew what he was gonna do again, as he smirked at you and suddenly made the beetle glow a blue color. "Woooooo the evil beetle has come back for revenge!" Killer teased you as he started moving the beetle close to you as you screamed a bit.

"Nooo stop! Ewww!" you said as you got up and started to run from him as he was just laughing while chasing you. "Oop! You better use one of your Genshin weapons to stop the beetle! Woooooo!" he teased again as you started laughing.

"Playing a game isn't my whole personality, Killer!" you said as he stopped chasing you which made you stop and look back at him a bit surprised. "Look!" He said dramatically as he pointed at a tree which made you turn to see what it was but you saw nothing, instead you felt him place something in your hair. "Wah!- Killer!" you said as you looked back at him and he was just looking away from you like nothing happened. You touched your hair were you felt a weird weight as you pulled out a flower that was glowing a light blue.

"Woah.....its so pretty..." you said as you were awed by the flower making him chuckle. "Its an echo flower....I can show you were I got it!" He said as he took your hand and dragged you along gently. You couldn't help but notice how much clearer Killers face looked, you could only see faint black lines on his face. "Were here! see!" he said pointing to a cave that was glowing a soft blue. He guided you inside, once inside the cave felt cool, and nice, as you saw how dark it was, there was only the soft glowing blue from the echo flowers, even some of the grass was glowing a soft blue.

"Woah......it's so pretty..." you said as you walked in closer and gently touched one of the flowers petals. "Woah....it's so pretty. "You jolted back a bit when you noticed the flower mimicked your voice, which made Killer chuckle softly. "The flowers will repeat what you say, well it depends on how close you are.....there called echo flowers..." Killer said as you pulled out the book Nightmare gave you and started to look for the pages, you could hear a flower mimic what Killer was saying in the background.

"Thats so cool...I mean I heard of them before but I don't think I've ever seen one..." you said quietly as Killer nodded his head. "This flower like any other flower can be used as a herb...well for monsters specifically....it was also used as some type of speaking device during the monster and human war..." Killer said as his eye sockets widen when you were paying close attention to him. "Oh.....that sounds really interesting..." You said as the Flower mimicked what you said making you flush a bit of red Killer couldn't help but find that cute.

"Well we should go look for that monster herb....what was it called again?" Killer said as you flipped through the pages. "um....its says here Spikehookberry....oh yeah!" you said with sudden realization that the both of you were supposed to look for a cliff to find the herb at. "Well lets go then...." Killer said offering his hand as you took it and he lead you out of the cave. "Um Killer...." you said as he stopped and glanced at you confused. " You said the flowers can mimic what others say....or the vibrations right?" you said as he nodded.

"Well....how come the one you placed in my hair isn't doing that..." You said as you looked at the glowing flower in your hand. "Well that's because I uh...kinda picked it..hehe." Killer chuckled nervously, "They'll only work if you don't pick them and they still have there roots attached." Killer said bluntly as you silently took note of that, you noticed how monster herbs were way cooler than normal human herbs. "Well shall we continue on our adventure~" Killer said as you giggled a bit.

"Yep..." you said as he took your hand and started walking. As you were walking you found a cliff, you squinted your eyes a bit and gasped as you found the Spikehookberry's on there. "Killer loo!" you said as Killer looked in the direction you pointed in. "Oh yeah a cliff!....and I see...." Killer paused as you saw his eye sockets squint a bit as his face suddenly changed to one of realization. "Oh oh! there are Spikehook whatever ya call it one there!" He said excitedly as thee both of you ran towards the cliff.
