Misfit in the midst of misfits

I kind of lost my sense of time. Or I thought Centra was closer to Luxia Nuron. I will never see my dad again!!!

Because we've been walking for 3 days and we've stopped for three rest stops. I'm slowly losing my mind. Meanwhile, sometimes crazy looking animals came and sniffed at us.Menko told me how to behave in Centra. That one must never use the term magic. To behave properly and stuff like that. This sucks, I thought it wouldn't take this long!

"Oh yeah, when we get in front of the walls, we'll have to disguise you. There would be mass panic if they saw a saji".

That was weird. I thought Jaidylen needed me and not that I had to disguise myself and hide. There was something fishy about it. Very fishy.

"Why panic? I thought I was the chosen one who had to save Jaidylen!" I was a little appalled.

"Just as there are people in your world who think differently and have different opinions, there are those here who think that the Saji are the spawn of hell."

Oh... well, I should have guessed that. After all, it can't be a piece of cake. Of course.

"What am I supposed to wear, anyway? Could my afro give me away or my ears?"

"Your hair is not, but your ears and clothes. I prepared something before I left for Earth and led us to this point, wait a moment!"

Menko walked a few steps further and retrieved something from a box behind a tree.A piece of cloth peeked out of her mouth and showed it to me, it was a cloak with a hood made of an unknown fabric, somewhat delicate yet sturdy. My disguise apparently.

"Just use some branches and brown scraps of cloth I still have here to make you elf ears."

Elves?

Real elves!?

So am I going to meet Legolas, the very real one?Well maybe, not the very real one, but extremely attractive women and men who are huge and have long ears. Ohh how wonderful!!!

"Okay, does that mean there are more species in Centra than Youndra?"

Menko nodded and took a breath. Meanwhile, the sun was slowly rising and was a sign of our going.

"Yes, there are elves, aliandras, grajeren, the attendant wood elves, a few orcs, and many more species. It's a city full of inhabitants and we live there mostly in peace."

What the heck are Aliandras and Grajeren? I know everyone else from stories. And video games. My LoL phase did my dad no good.

"What do you mean by aliandras and grajeren? Are they subspecies?"

 While I was talking with Menko and packing up our things, dawn came toward us and the chirping of jade birds sounded in the woods.

A large red eyed eagle, an eagle with 6 eyes, 2 on its head and 2 on each wing, flew over our heads into the morning sky.A sign of fates colliding, Menko had meant.

"Aliandras are wizards and enchantresses. Sometimes there are witches, too. One of the strongest and most famous aliandra families are even witches, the Sórens. Grajeren are small, scale-like winged creatures. I think you call them dragons." Meanwhile, I could already see the wall and now it was close and huge.
