Glenn opened the gate to let Maggie and me in. We got off our horses, and Beth took them from us. "Thank you," I said to Beth, and she nodded to me. "I'm taking the things to my father. Should I take yours with me too?" asked Maggie. I shook my head as I looked at Lori, who was already waiting for me.
"No, everything's fine, I have to talk to Lori for a moment. I'll bring the things to Hershel myself." Maggie held up her thumbs and started looking for her father.
I turned around and waved to Lori as I walked up to her. She bit her nails nervously and gave me a slight nod, saying, "So here is what you needed." I gave Lori the things she needed in a small extra bag, and she took them.
"Thanks, Ivy. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't." I raised my hand and shook my head. No problem, but you should think about what you're going to do if the test is positive," I said quietly, and Lori sighed, "I know, I'll figure something out"
I nodded and was about to go to the well where the walker was, or what was left of him, when I turned around and looked at Lori again. "If you need anything, let me know" Lori nodded
"Thank you really" i gave a thumbs up and left.A few minutes later, I was at the well and looked down the walker's legs; a few inner ones were floating on the surface of the water, and I looked at them very closely.
"You want to go back in there again?" Shane laughed as I snapped my head back and turned around. My gaze remained cold. I still don't like this guy, and he doesn't like me, so why was he talking to me? "What do you want?" He looked at me confused, and I rolled my eyes. "Don't look at me like that; I know you don't just want to make small talk; I'm 22 and not 7".
Shane cleared his throat and crossed his arms over his chest. "How long do you want to stay here?" I raised an eyebrow. "Really? You care about how long I stay?" Now he was the one who rolled his eyes.
"Now answer the question," he said, annoyed. I just laughed, "As if I'm telling you my plans, if you haven't noticed yet, Shane, I don't like you very much, and I'm definitely not going to tell you what I will do next." Shane clenched his fist and came closer, but I didn't move.
"Listen, Missy, I notice what you're doing." I looked at him, confused. "What are you talking about?" "Don't act like I don't notice," I said, pointing at the cowboy hat I was wearing. Maggie gave it to me whenWhat? What are you talking about we were riding back to the farm.
Shane was still waiting for an answer: "You're going to talk or what?" I got mad since I had no idea what Shane was talking about. "Okay, what the fuck are you even talking about?"
"I'm talking about Hershel's daughter; the way you look at her and talk to her, that has to stop." I couldn't believe my ears. When the hell was he near Maggie and me? "Okay, you stalker, slow down. First, what do you think of ambushing us and listening to us? Second, I'm just spending time with her, and third, you shouldn't give a damn how I treat Maggie as long as I don't hurt her, so you'd better be quiet now."
Shane now grabbed my wrist and looked at me intently. "I had thought that the walkers had destroyed people like you, but there I am." I tried to get out of his grip, but he squeezed harder. "Okay, you'll let me go now, I won't say it a second time." Shane didn't say anything else and tried to push me back.
I pushed against him and tried not to fall backwards. "It would just be better if you stopped it not only for all of us but also for you, then I would have to-."
I had enough
I pulled my arm down. Shane didn't expect this and staggered forward. His head was now near my hip, so I brought out my knee and slammed it into his face. He let go of me and staggered backwards. I saw blood on my pants, and then I looked to Shane.
"Shit," I said shakily. Not only had I realized what a psycho Shane was, but also that he now had a bloody nose, and I didn't know how the others would react to that. My first thought was that he would tell them a different story, like he had done with Otis.
"You cunt, who do you think you are? Huh?!" He shouted at me, but I walked past him without saying another word. "You'll pay for it, you'll see!" He screamed more things, but I blocked out what he was saying because the only thing I heard was my own heartbeat.
I came near the house and got inside, i took my bag off and but all the stuff i indeed inside, i also grabbed my gun and my blad and put them around my waist.
I walked down stairs and saw the map that we had on the truck and placed it in my bag. I got out the door and saw that one of the horses was there. I got onto it and Daryl, T-Dog and Andrea saw that I had blood on my pants.
They asked me what happened, "Shane he grabbed me and said some things that Aren't true oh and now he has a bloody nose because of me and i'm probably have to leave but hey i'm gonna be fine cause, also i'm gonna look for sofia." I was angry and i needed to distract myself.
Daryl came near me and i looked at him "wait for me i'm coming with you" i sighed and nodded "okay" he got his arrow and his bike after a few minutes he was ready, we took off. And disappeared into the forest.
Yikes, I think you can see I'm not a fan of Shane also do i like this? No will i probably work on this chapter in the future? Yes.
