ONE WEEK LATER

"Good work today, everyone. I'm seeing improvement in every single one of you." the coach talks to the crowd as you're all scattered around the room. His eyes drift to land on you and he nods, as if talking directly to you. "You should all be proud."

You are infected by a lop-sided smile, receiving the first accolades ever since joining the dojo almost four months ago.

You lower your head to hide your smile, and toy with the bandage on your forearm.

"We're all going out for dinner tonight. Come along if you're free," the coach is smiling, for what seemed like the first time ever. "The company is paying for it."

A loud cheer erupts around you, almost swallowing you entirely.

"Alright, sounds like a 'yes' from most of you." coach laughs, rubbing his hands together. "Lets get going, then."

The boys around you are overly eager for some free grub. But, you weren't too keen on the social aspect of this group.

It wasn't going to be like hanging out with friends.

It would be exactly like Jungkook said: out-sourcing your self harm.

So that is why you say nothing to anyone, walking through the crowd, to the lockers. You make no noise as you took off your gear, and put on your hoodie. You put on your black Vans, and slipped a hat over your head.

You turned around to wave goodbye to the coach, but the crowd seemed to already be moving out after you. You decided to keep your head down and just slip through the cracks.

You walk beside some of the boys you'd never spoken to, and up the stairs. Once you all got out onto the street, you tucked your hands into your hoodie pocket and peeled off to the right, away from the others, and started walking towards an alley.

You were sure you had gotten away unscathed.

Until a firm weight lands over your shoulders.

You jump, turning to look at the culprit and find Jungkook, towering over you and grinning.

"C'mon Peanut," he grumbles nonchalantly. "You must be hungry after all that."

"Nah, I'm not." you lie, grimacing, "And I've got dinner at home."

"Might as well save that for tomorrow," Jungkook says. He is clearly not up for a negotiation as he turns around, dragging you along with him. "Let's go."

"No-"

You retract and sigh, quickly coming to terms with the fact that he was not up for a compromise. His mind was made up.

Great.

Your body language is bored and agitated as Jungkook drags you back to the group like a hopeless ragdoll, finding your place beside Jimin and making absolutely sure you weren't going anywhere.

At first, you weren't exactly sure why Jungkook had been so hellbent on bringing you along to this dinner which would only require for you to be in the same premise for much longer than either of you wanted.

And why would he do that?

"You better order some more."

His voice in your ear sends a sharp shiver down your spine, as you sit uncomfortably in your chair beside his.

Oh, that's right.

"If you ever want to have any chance at being a good fighter, you're gonna have to put a fuck load of muscle on these bones."
