***Onyx's POV***

My eyes struggled to open as I tried to wake up. I rub my eyes, hoping it would help. Once my vision was normal, I see Damon sitting in a chair next to me.

"Good morning, love." He gave me a weak smile, he looked tired.

"Morning. Were you there the whole time?"

"Yeah. I hope you don't mind. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"I don't mind, but you stayed in the chair?"

"Yes. I didn't want to trigger you or something. Are you hungry? Thirsty?" I could tell he wanted to change the subject. I guess I can bring it up later.

"Hungry for sure." I go to sit up and had to stop. My body was very sore, especially between my legs. Damon stood from his chair quickly to help me.

"Thanks." I tell Damon.

"You don't ever have to thank me, love." He kisses my forehead. "It's the least I could do."

"We aren't together. You don't have to help me. Nobody would blame you if-"

"Don't."

"Don't what?"

"Don't sit there and try to push me away. I don't care if we aren't together. Shit, I don't give a fuck if you don't even love me. I love you and there is nothing you can say or do that is going to stop me from taking care of you. I am here for you."

His face is so close to mine. All I want to do is grab his face and kiss him. But that thought quickly left my mind. I couldn't help but to think it was too soon. That he wouldn't want me after so many men just had me. Plus we haven't got the STD test results, so I wouldn't want to pass something onto him.

"I don't want to push you away. I just didn't want you to feel obligated to stay."

"I'm not leaving you, love. I can't and I won't. Now, what do you want to eat?" Damon pulls out his phone and starts typing.

"Pizza. Mmm and wings." He finishes typing and looks up at me.

"Frankie will be bringing the food. You sure you don't want anything else? Soda maybe?"

"I'm good. But Damon?"

"Yes, love."

"Just for the record, I do love you." A smile grew on his face and I couldn't help but to smile back. Just then Damon's phone rang, before we could say or do anything else. Once he checked who it was calling him, he answered immediately.

"Hello. Yes. Okay. I will speak to her. I will let you know when we will be down there." He hangs up the phone and looks to me.

"They called for you to come down, so they can tell you your test results. Not sure if you wanted to eat first, wait for Frankie, or go by yourself."

"Well, I would like for you and Frankie to come with me. But I want to go after we eat. I'm starving."

"As you wish, my love. Frankie should be here soon."

"I want to get changed and wash my face before the food gets here."

"Okay, let me help you up."

"No. I can do it." I put my hand up to stop him from grabbing me.

"We both know you can do it, love. Just let me-"

"I said no!" My voice was stern and loud. He took a step back, moving his chair out of the way. My body aches, but I fight the pain. I force myself out of the bed, flinching now and then. I could feel his eyes on me as I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom. By the time I closed the door, I had to catch my breath.
