***Onyx's POV***

My head pounded as I pushed past everyone in the way, the airport was crowded and too loud for my liking. I couldn't help but want to punch the ones who looked at me the wrong way. I fucking hate being around so many people. Finally walking out the packed as fuck airport, I dragged my luggage behind me with my right hand.  The place became smaller and smaller as I walked further away from it, eventually it disappeared out of my sight.

I can't fucking believe I actually left. I'm free, finally free from that shithole. After bouncing from foster home to foster home, to doing some jail time for aggravated assault. I am nineteen now and finally able to do what I want.

I took a deep breath as I dug my new Samsung Galaxy phone out of my pocket, I scrolled down my long list of contacts and texted my friend Sam, sending her my location. Didn't take much convincing to let me stay with her.  I'm really lucky I met her in one of the many hells I've been to, she always had my back. She was the first one on the street to not stab me in the back the second she had a chance. That is, until she moved away, then I had no one really. Had some friends here and there and even some good friends with benefits, but nothing more. Not like I was capable of opening up easily anyways.

About twenty minutes after the text, I saw her pull up in a black BMW with tinted windows. Of course she was blasting her music. As I walked up to the car, she rolled down the passenger window which revealed her pierced nose and dyed red hair.

"Hey bitch, get in." She lowered the music so I could hear her.

"Damn, nice car." I compliment as I put my stuff in the back seats and hopped in the front.

"I know, I got this beauty two years ago." She replied as she pulled off.

"Cool and how exactly did you get it?" I asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

"How do people like us usually get a car?" She teased. I gave her a look and she understood.

"I stole it, duh." She flashes a smile, keeping her beautiful blue eyes on the road.

"I expect nothing less." I chuckled.

"Frankie is so excited to see you, you know?"

"I know. I can't wait to see him. Is there anything I should know before we get there?"

"Yeah, we also got some new members recently. I think you'll like 'em. Most of them are good, but some are not going to last long. Frankie is going to introduce you to the crew, but nobody outside of us are to know that you are Frankie's sister." I give her a nod. I missed Frankie. He was like my older brother I never had. He always took care of me and protected me but then again, let me do almost anything I wanted. We met in my first foster home when I was three. He is only a few years older than I am and I guess always saw me as a little sister. His father lit their home on fire with his mom, two younger sisters and him in it. He was the only one who made it. The cops never found his piece of shit of a father. Frankie and I tried to look for him ourselves but was never successful. I hope he died, slowly and painfully.

"Oh, so nothing I can't handle. How many new members?"

"Well besides you, there are four women and five men. Bitch let me tell you, I ain't gay. But I would let some of those bitches have me for dinner." We both bust out laughing. She low-key gay. I came out to her as bisexual, when I was twelve. Turns out, it wasn't just a phase for me. At least god gave me one good thing.

The rest of the car ride we stay silent and listen to her music. All these thoughts running through my head. I can't wait for my next assignment, which would be my first for this gang. Assignments are my job - scratch that - my life. I don't know what I would do without them, it gives me such a rush. Sam honked the horn snapping me out of my thoughts.
