Chapter 9: Stop Playing Games

***Damon's POV***

The guys and I got ready pretty quickly so we were waiting for the girls. By now, I was high as fuck. I felt very relaxed. Javi walked up to me and handed me a beer. Not long after, Sam and Nyx come from upstairs. She really is breathtaking. All the guys whistled at them. Sam smiles and sways her hips, while Nyx ignored them. She looked nervous, I wanted to comfort her. We all ended up in the kitchen where they started taking shots. I only took a couple since I was already high. A hand on my shoulder brought me out of my thoughts. I turn to see it's Becca. She used to be my sneaky link. 

"Well you look extra fine today." I can't lie, she was looking hot. But she didn't compare to Nyx. 

"You trying to get back into my good graces, Becca?"

"Mmm, more like your bed." She throws me a smirk. "Maybe we can end up there tonight."

With that, she walks away to her friends. She was always very blunt. The group took one last shot and we headed out. As soon as we got there, I spotted a rival gang. But since they were on the other side of the club, I didn't think much of them. The girls started dancing and the guys started drinking more. Nyx seemed to be more relaxed now, she did have quite a few shots. Becca came up to me and put her lips to my ear.

"I've been missing you." She ran her hands up my chest. It felt nice, it's been a long time since I've done anything with anyone. I pull her closer to me and whisper in her ear. As I do so, I see Nyx dancing with the girls still. She made it clear that she wasn't interested. 

"Show me." I sat down and leaned back. She smirked, then danced for me. Soon, she was dancing on me. As I was watching Becca, my sight fell on Nyx in the background. She was dancing with Marcus. He started kissing her neck and I swear I was going to lose it. Nyx and I made eye contact. We held it for a few seconds, then she turned around and kissed Marcus. So it's just me that she can't stand to be with. 

Shots go off and the whole club panics. Music turns off, women start screaming and everyone tries to get out of the building. I take Becca off of me and go straight to Nyx. When I pull her towards me, she stumbles a little. 

"Let me fucking go." She yanks her arm out of my grip. 

"Now's not the time, Onyx." I reach out to grab her arm again, but she moves back too quickly that she stumbles again. I narrow my eyes at her. Shots go off again, but they sound closer this time. So I grab her harder this time and pull her close to my side. She huffs but gives in. I push people out the way and we get to the cars. Some of the crew are not here yet. 

"Get in." 

"No. I'm not leaving Sam." She slurred.

"I'm sure she will be out in a second, you can wait in the car."

"But-" She was cut off by a couple more gun shots and tries to rush past me. I grab her and put her in the car.

"Stay here. I will go get her." She looks hesitant but nods her head. I close the door and head back in. The club still had quite a lot of people, the lights were on now. I saw a group of people fighting close to where our section was. I see Sam and Gabe in that group. They were fighting some of the people from the rival gang I saw earlier. I head over there to grab Gabe and Sam. Of course, we have to fight our way out. Our whole crew made it back to the cars. As soon as we were leaving, cops showed up. Sam and Nyx leaned on each other in the backseat. The other car went to another club since it was only 12 something. But we took our asses back to the house. Nyx and Sam fell asleep in the back. Gabe and I picked them up and brought them in. I brought Nyx to her room, took off her heels, and placed water by the bed with some ibuprofen. I would have changed her into comfortable clothes, but I don't think she would have wanted me to do that. I turn on her tv and turn it down a little, I remembered how she likes the background noise when she sleeps. I step out her room, closing the door slowly so she doesn't wake up.
