Chapter 28: Preparations

***Onyx's POV***

"I have it!" Lucy barged into the room. I woke up to see Rudy and Sam in bed with me. 

"Rudy, wake everyone. It's time." We all hopped out of bed. Sam threw my jacket to me and handed me my knife. 

"The Sanchez gang helped her. They were close friends to her parents." Lucy filled me in as I moved. 

"Of course." I should of known. 

"They have her in one of their safe houses up North. It's an hour drive there." Great. I get back on the coffee table as the room quickly filled. 

"We have found them. The girl who burned the house is Kristina Harris. The Sanchez gang is apparently a family friend so we will be going after them as well. We are heading to the safe house they have her in. Lucy will provide the address. We will take her out while I get Rafa to take out the Sanchez gang. We need to attack at once so none of them get a chance to warn each other." Lucy starts texting the address to everyone. Rudy and Javi came over to stand by my sides. 

"It's an hour drive, but once we get there I need you all to be very aware. I don't want a single fucking person getting away. Whoever finds Kristina first. Save that bitch for me." Lucy started handing out pictures of what she looks like. 

"Lucy, I need you to make sure there is nobody left in her family. I don't give a fuck how old or how far. We are ending that fucking family line today. They tried to end us and even though we lost a lot, we are fucking taking it back today. We will show them what a fucking mistake they fucking made!" They shouted and chanted. I jumped down and pulled out my phone. I texted Kyle to let him know what was going on. 

"Everyone get ready. We need to leave as soon as possible." Javi announced to everyone. They moved quickly. I stepped outside to call Rafa. 

"Hola, princesa. I'm surprised to hear from you."

"So you've heard."

"Of course, especially since you came to talk to Travis. I have eyes everywhere, you should know that."

"I do, but that's all personal. I am actually calling about business. You and Frankie had plans to take down the Sanchez gang."

"Yes. I've been wanting to scratch that itch."

"Good, because I am asking for you to attack them today. I am going after one of their safe houses. I should be there within an hour and a half. We can still provide ammo and the money."

"That's a big move for a beginner. You sure you are ready?" 

"Rafa, they killed my brother and the love of my life. I've been fucking ready."

"I always knew you had a fire in you. Let's do it, reina."

"Let me know when you are on the way there. We need to make sure they don't warn each other. I'll send someone now to bring you the ammo. You'll get the money after."

"Smart girl. Sounds good. We'll be in touch." I slid the phone in my back pocket. 

It was six in the morning. The sun hadn't come up yet, but it will soon. The morning breeze blew against my face. Two crows caught my eye. They were in a tree but moved to the fence. They started to pick at each other and I laughed. It was almost as if they were bickering. 

"Nyx?" I turned around to see Rudy standing in the doorway. 

"What?"

"I heard you laughing. I thought you were talking to someone."

"Oh, there's-" I turned back to see the crows had left. I don't know why, but I was sad that they had. "Nevermind. Rafa agreed. Tell Javi to take the ammo to him."
