***Onyx's POV***

These motherfuckers were already putting a bad taste in our mouth by being late. I had two tequila shots by now, I was feeling good. Any nervousness I was feeling was gone. Whether Damon was off his game or not, I was on mine.

I saw Rafa walking up with Tasha and who I assume is Travis, following shortly behind. Something about Travis felt strangely familiar. He's tall with brown hair and green eyes, similar to Damon's. He was older, early 30's maybe. His skin was pale, emphasizing his tattoos. Rafa was definitely the oldest. He was tan, had a slight beer belly, beard, and a hairy chest. He has brown hair and brown eyes. The hair on his chest was probably stealing from his head, because you could tell he was starting to bald. They sat in their seats across from us. Tasha sat across from me, Travis to Damon and Rafa to Frankie.

"Hola, hermano. I apologize for the wait. Someone had to be handled." He had an accent.

"Of course. I understand. Let's get down to business shall we?"

"Ah. What's the rush? Let's get some drinks and food first. I can't do business on an empty stomach." I could see Frankie clench his jaw. He wasn't one to make small talk or waste his time. I'm sure the last thing he wanted to do was be here.

Rafa called over the waiter. Tasha looked uninterested. I don't blame her. Travis had his eyes on Damon. I didn't like how he was looking at him and I could tell Damon didn't like it either. We all ordered our food and drinks. I went with a water since I already had tequila.

"Just water, Onyx?" Rafa asked when the waiter walked away. He had a smirk on his trifling face. Did I mention I also hated small talk?

"Mhm."

"Come on, you should drink. You're alive, we should celebrate!" Rafa laughed.

"I don't feel like celebrating with Odis's...people."

"Hey. Odis betrayed both of us. I never gave him orders to go after you."

"Plus it's your own fault." Tasha chimed in.

"Her fault?" Damon said.

"Yes. If she kept her mouth shut and left the past in the past, nothing would of happened."

I felt Frankie's hand on my thigh. Signaling me to control myself. I laughed.

"Aww. Are you mad I killed your little boyfriend or are you mad that he wanted me and not you."

"Bitch-" She looked like she was about to stand up and do something, but Rafa gripped her shoulder.

"Ladies, no reason for us to get feisty. We have a common goal to work towards." Rafa chuckled. Tasha glared at me as I smiled at her. Oh, if looks could kill. The waiter came over with our drinks and some appetizers.

"She isn't going to be a problem, is she?" Frankie asked, referencing to Tasha.

"Of course not. Right, Tasha?"

"Right." She was going to be a problem.

"I think she will be a problem. I think her loyalty doesn't lie with you, but with Odis." Frankie spoke.

"Well that would be my business and we are not here to discuss my business."

"Just don't let it become my business, because if she slips up this assignment, I would hate for you to have to lose another member."

"Is that a threat?" Travis spoke for the first time. His attention shifted from Damon to Frankie.

"Does it need to be?" Frankie kept his composure. I wanted to punch this Travis motherfucker for taking that tone with Frankie.
