"Doh tell mi a so yaah go spend the rest a the weekend"

I look up from my steaming cup of mint tea to see my little brother, I was playing with the tea bag and ignoring English talking on the phone with Chey.

English was by the stove cooking lunch since he came back in an hour.

Don't I live the most princess life?.

My brother let's me do whatever I want.

"Think unu lost" I say to Dre and Vinny.

Dre walked over to me and pinched my nose until I smacked his hand away, he then hugged me with a chuckle.

"I missed you" he says softly.

I did miss him as well, but hearing him say it made my eyes water.

"I missed you too"

We stay in each other's arms for a while, just embracing the reunion.

English said he told Dre not to go to school today, he wanted him to come here early to decrease any fatigue he would have had from school and then having to travel.

Dre stepped back and looked me over, as I did him. He was standing almost the same height as English, resembling us both, he wore a white t-shirt, blue ripped jeans and white Nike slides.

My eyes caught the gold name around his neck.

Bwoii love him grandmother essi.

"Why unu a eyes each other like that?" English questions.

Why him sound like a father?.

"Nothing", we reply in sync, still looking at each other.

"If you did miss me yuh wuda come look fime" Dre points out, taking a seat next to me and taking the cup of tea from me.

"When last you see yuh fada?" I ask.

Mighty God Tali.

He sips the tea about to respond but English beats him to it.

"Two a unu shut up eno because without me both a unu wuda be neglected and nobody wouldn't care fi unu so nobada get smart with each other"

Vinny laughs out at his statement, "sorry".

Dre and I sat there in silence like the younger siblings we were, as if another word could get us into trouble with our big brother.

Come to think of it, English has always been there to shut us up whenever we started to bicker, Dre and I are close but we still have our sibling rivalry now and again.

"Miss Gee said to call her" Vinny says to English.

Vinny is to English what Beck is to Imani, except Vinny is more cautious and quiet.

He's a 6'2 build, he has a fair complexion with tattoos up his arms, he had a mean mug on his face all the time but he's actually a nice guy once you're on his good side. He has a fade and cornrows on the top of his head that were caught into a man bun, I don't know how he and English became acquaintances but he's always present when my brother needed him.
