Author's POV:

Pin's delicate fingers traced the contours of his open textbook, absorbing every word that lay before him. He was known for his studious nature and had an insatiable hunger for knowledge. At the same time, Pin possessed impeccable manners that were hard to find in a boy his age. A polite smile often graced his lips as he held doors open for teachers and fellow students alike, earning him their respect and admiration.

"Did you hear?" whispered Pond, one of Pin's closest friends, leaning over the shared desk during a brief lull in their morning class. "There's a new student joining our college today."

"Really?" Pin questioned, keeping his voice low to avoid disturbing the others around them. "Do you know anything about him or her?"

"Him," replied Pond with a sly grin. "And all I've heard is that he's supposed to be really charming."

The excitement in the air was evident as the students began to anticipate the arrival of this new, enigmatic addition to their ranks. Whispers and murmurs filled the previously quiet classroom, a stark contrast to the subdued atmosphere that usually reigned within these walls.

"Order! Order in the class!" called out Mr. Chang, their stern biology professor, silencing the sudden burst of excited chatter. "I expect better behavior from all of you."

Pin quickly refocused his attention on his textbook, his cheeks reddening at the thought of being caught in idle gossip. As the lesson continued, he couldn't help but let his mind wander occasionally to the rumored new student like Who was he? Why was he coming to their college? And would he really be as charming as everyone seemed to believe?

At the sound of the bell signaling the end of the period, the classroom erupted into a cacophony of scraping chairs and chattering students, eager to continue their speculation in the open corridors. Pin carefully packed his books into his bag and stood up, adjusting his uniform with practiced precision.

"Let's go outside," suggested Pond, grabbing his wrist as they stepped into the bustling corridor. "Maybe we'll catch a glimpse of our new classmate."

"Alright, but only for a minute," Pin acquiesced, allowing himself to be swept along by the overwhelming curiosity that filled the hallway.

As they joined the bunch of students milling about in anticipation, Pin couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement stirring within him. Watching his fellow students exchange theories and rumors about the newcomer, he found himself caught in the whirlwind of anticipation, eager to learn more about the boy who had sparked such fervor among his peers.

"Look!" cried Pond, pointing towards the main entrance where a figure had just appeared. "Is that him?"

Pin strained his neck to catch a glimpse of the new arrival, his heart pounding in his chest, as the air charged with an electric energy. Little did he know that this day would mark the beginning of a life-altering journey, a journey that would teach him about love, friendship, and the strength that lies within each of us.

Pin POV:

As the students in the hallway continued their excited chatter, I couldn't help but feel a little out of place. I was usually so focused on my studies that I rarely paid attention to the comings and goings of other students. But today was different, and the atmosphere around me was infectious.

"Look!" Pond cried out again, this time pointing to the now-open front doors. A tall, pale boy with black hair stepped confidently into the campus, his eyes scanning the crowd as if searching for someone in particular. He wore a leather jacket over his neat uniform, giving him an air of casual sophistication. It was Son, the new student, everyone had been waiting for.

"Wow," I whispered, my heart skipping a beat as I took in his striking features. His doe eyes seemed to hold a magnetic power as they locked onto me, sending a shiver down my spine. The world around me seemed to slow down, a hushed silence enveloping me as I felt the first stirrings of attraction take hold.

"Isn't he dreamy?" Pond sighed, leaning closer to me. "I've never seen anyone like him before."

"Uh-huh," I agreed, unable to tear my gaze away from Son's face. My heart fluttered wildly in my chest, threatening to burst free from its cage.

"What do you think he's like?" Pond asked, his voice filled with curiosity. "Do you think he's smart? Funny? Romantic?"

"I... I don't know," I replied softly as my mind racing a marathon with possibilities.

Would he be kind, understanding, and patient?

Or would he be arrogant, conceited, and dismissive?

I couldn't help but wonder what lay beneath the surface of his charming exterior.

"Hey, you two," a new voice chimed in, causing me to jump. It was my another friend Can, who had managed to push his way through the crowd to join us. "What's going on? Who are you staring at?"

"Son," Pond answered, gesturing towards the captivating new arrival. "He just walked in."

"Wow," Can agreed, his eyes widening as he took in the sight of him. "He's definitely something, isn't he?"

"Definitely," I murmured, feeling a tinge of envy as Son's gaze shifted away from me and began to roam over the other students near me. I don't know why but I didn't want to share his attention with anyone else, but I knew too that I had no claim over him.

He was free to look, speak, and laugh with whomever he chose.

"Maybe we should go introduce ourselves," Pond suggested, a mischievous glint in his eye. "After all, we wouldn't want him to feel unwelcomed, would we?"

"Uh, I don't know about that," I replied hesitantly, my heart pounding at the thought of speaking to Son face-to-face. "I'm not really good at that sort of thing..."

"Come on, Pin," Can encouraged, giving me a gentle shove. "You never know what will happen if you don't take a chance."

I hesitated for a moment longer, torn between my desire to get closer to Son and a fear of making a fool of myself. But as I watched him smile at another group of girls and boys, I realized that I couldn't let this opportunity pass by.

"Fine," I agreed, taking a deep breath as I prepared to step out of my comfort zone and into the realm of possibility. "I'll think"
