Pin POV:

Pond asked a question that hung in the air like a thick cloud. "Alright, so what's the game plan?" His eyes were darting between me and Son, filled with excitement.

"Game plan?" I tried to act chill while stumbling, "I dunno," My mind raced on its own, imagining different scenarios where I approached Son, only to get shut down.

Feeling my unease, Can stepped up and put his hand on my shoulder in a comforting way. "Chill, Pin," he said. His voice had a calm vibe.

No matter how irritating that monkey was, right now his voice soothed my anxious heart like a gentle breeze, relieving the tension in my mind. "Just be yourself. If he's really as awesome as he seems, he'll like you for who you truly are."

I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, just be myself," I murmured, my voice barely audible. I repeated Can's words, trying to soak in his words of encouragement, to calm the mischievous butterflies that were going crazy in my stomach.

Pond, always being a nosy prick, chimed in with his own words of encouragement. "Exactly," he said, his voice filled with mad confidence. "We'll just walk over there, say hi, and start up a convo. Maybe we could ask him about his interests or something. So damn easy." I couldn't help but roll my eyes at Pond's chill attitude.

"Easy for you to say," I muttered under my breath in a mocking tone, my voice barely audible. My nerves were totally screwing with me. My palms started getting hella sweaty, and I quickly wiped them on my pants, trying to hide my jitters.

Outta nowhere, I swallowed hard and my throat went dry. My stupid heart started pounding like crazy in my chest as I fixated my gaze on Son across the busy courtyard. He was chilling with a group of dudes, having a lively chat. His laughs flowed effortlessly, and his moves gave off a confidence that I could only dream of having.

"Hey, Pin," Can said. His chill voice snapped me out of my daydreams, bringing me back to reality. "You got this, boy. Even if the worst-case scenario goes down and he doesn't become your best friend, at least you can say you tried, right?"

I managed a weak smile, my lips barely twitching. "Yeah, I guess," I replied, my voice laced with doubt. Deep down, I knew this was a golden opportunity, a moment to break free from my safe space and take a chance for once.

Author's POV:

Pin was leaned up against this massive oak tree, its branches swaying in the breeze and all. He had a clear view of Son. His eyes fixed on Son only, the one he have a major crush on. Son was chatting it up with all sorts of students in the bustling college courtyard.

Pin couldn't help but be in awe of Son's smooth talking abilities. Son was cracking jokes left and right, making everybody laugh and smile. "Come on, Pin! You can do this." Pin encouraged himself under his breath, thinking he should work up the guts to go talk to Son. But dang, Pin's voice was barely audible cause of all the noisy jabbering going on.

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, a familiar voice broke the silence. "Hey there," Yes. It was Can, the famous talkative monkey of SWU. "Still admiring Son from afar?" he chimed in, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Pin's heart skipped a beat. He tried to play it cool, stammering out some lame excuse, "Uh...no, I'm just...um...watching the birds." But Can saw right through it, giving Pin a playful nudge. "Nice try," Can chuckled. "You know, you could always go up and talk to him."

Pin sighed, his anxiety all up in his voice. "I dunno," he said, biting his bottom lip nervously. "What if he thinks I'm some kinda weirdo or something?"

Can, being a real bro to Pin, slapped a friendly hand on his shoulder. "Listen," he said, his tone dripping with genuine sincerity. "You're cute, smart, and funny AF. If that dude can't see that, then it's his freakin' loss."

Pin managed to crack a little smile, hella grateful for Can's words of encouragement. "Thanks, Can," he replied, his voice filled with this newfound fire.

"And hey!" Can continued, with a mischievous smirk decorating on his face, "who knows what might happen if you take that first step?" He added.

Pin took a deep breath, feeling the wave of determination wash over him. "Alright," he said, his voice oozing with this newfound confidence.

Pin POV:

As I sat in the corner of the bustling canteen, a feeling of unease settled deep within the pit of my stomach. My eyes were fixated on Son, the charming new student of SWU, who had effortlessly capturing the attention of everyone around him. It was during the lunch break that he had become the undeniable center of attraction, drawing a crowd of admirers like moths to a damn flame.

Girls, their eyes sparkling with anticipation, and even some pathetic boys, their faces flushed with damn excitement, fluttered around him like a swarm of butterflies. Each one were desperately vying for his attention, their annoying giggles and flirty glances filling the air. I couldn't help but clench my fists under the damn desk, my heart pounding with a toxic mixture of insecurity and hesitance.

Grrrrr....

God, I was so damn jealous. There was a fiery, steamy hot anger that was bubbling up inside me, threatening to engulf me fully. It was a damn struggle to keep it under control, to tame down the inferno of emotions that wanted nothing more than to devour me.

In the midst of my internal turmoil, Pond, the quarter Italian ghost, had the audacity to lean towards me and whisper in my ear, "Psst, Pin," he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Looks like you've got some competition." He said. His words did nothing but add fuel to the already blazing fire, that was burning inside me, intensifying my anger beyond limits.

I'm going to kill this pervert!!!

"Shut up, Pond!" I muttered, my voice laced with frustration as I attempted to suppress my rising anger. It was because I don't want to create a scene here. But my cheeks betrayed me, turning a deep shade of red, a clear indication of the rage that coursed through my veins.

Sensing my radiating anger, Pond, the porn addict, flashed me a reassuring smile. "Hey, don't worry about it," he said, his voice oozing with confidence. "You're more amazing than all those girls and boys combined. You just need to gather the courage to approach him."

This Italian Ghost!

"Easy for you to say," I scoffed, my enraged gaze involuntarily snapping back to Son, who was now engrossed in laughing, surrounded by a group of idiots. The sight only fueled my frustration, intensifying the anger that burned inside me.

"Ughhhh"

An infuriated groan burst from my lips, a sound that perfectly captured my exasperation. "Come on, Pin!" Can chimed in, his voice oozing with encouragement. "We've all seen the way he looks at you. It's freaking obvious he's interested."

The doubt that poisoned my thoughts made my voice barely audible as I questioned, "Really?" The uncertainty in my tone was evident, a reflection of the insecurities that suffocated my mind completely.

"Absolutely," Pond confirmed, his voice unwavering. "But if you don't make a move soon, some other desperate loser might swoop in and steal him away."

Hell no!

I won't let that pathetic possibility happen!!

"Shut the hell up, Pond." I muttered angrily, my frustration seeping through every word. The weight of the situation crushed me, urging me to take action before it was too damn late.

Fucking hell!!!
