I threw open the front door to my brother's base camp, not hard enough to damage anything, but hard enough to cause a ruckus. "BIG SIS IS HOME!" I yelled. It is currently 7 o'clock in the morning. I had to drop all my paperwork off and ask for a week of vacation at the company building before I could come over here to be a general nuisance. Only Rui and Ming are up right now, so I wanna wake everyone else up. I smiled deviously. I closed the door and changed my shoes before entering the building. Walking into the living room, I put my bag on the couch and sat down with a sigh.

"Hello, Y/n. Did you sleep?" Ming asked, sitting across from me.

"Nah. I played games and did paperwork. My insomnia got the best of me last night. Oh well! I'll probably end up passing out on the couch later. Who knows? Now, where is that little brother of mine?" I said, smirking.

Ming shook his head and laughed. "He's in his room, asleep."

"Good! How should I prank him today?" I said, thinking. An idea popped into my head. I jumped up. "I'm going to hide all his candies. I'll be right back."

Ming laughed again, heading back to the kitchen for his breakfast.

I moved to his little piggy bank by his computer and shook all the candies out of the bottom. Fifteen little candies laid on the table. Fifteen?! Man this kid had a sweet tooth. I laughed quietly as I picked up the candies and hid them in the cabinet above the fridge. It'll take him a while to find those. I'll have to get the candies from his room later, but this was good enough for now.

Climbing down from the chair I had used to reach the cabinet, I grinned evilly at the two boys across the counter from me. "That should bamboozle him for a while!" The smiled at my antics, and I smiled back. Welp, time to wake them up!

"Hey, Rui, where's your megaphone?" I asked, turning to the timid man.

"Ah! Let me go grab it for you." He walked off in search of the requested item.

"Don't expect me to help you if you get a sandal or something to your face." Ming said with a warning look.

"Don't worry, I won't be looking for help." I said, laughing quietly. I almost knew for a fact that I was going to get at least a pillow thrown at my face.

After a minute Rui returned with the requested megaphone. After handing it to me, he smiled and retreated to the kitchen, not wanting to be near when the attack comes. I smile, turn the device on, turned it up as far as I dared,  and held it up to my lips.

"Time to wake up!!! Lu Si Cheng! Lao Mao! Fatty! K! Time to get your butts out of bed!!!" I said through the megaphone.

"Five more minutes!" Yelled a tired, angry Fatty. I laughed. This was way too fun. At this point, they should be expecting me to be here ridiculously early on Saturdays.

"Deal with it. I'll bet you stayed up last night watching some show. Get up, you lazy bums!" I said, still through the megaphone, as Mr. Sweet Tooth himself walked out of his room, still in his pajamas. He took off his slipper and threw it at my face. It hit. I stayed still, but it still hurt. I laughed. The look on his face! He looked nigh on murderous! I bent over, laughing even harder when he threw his second one at me. It missed, but it was still funny.

"Also, Lu Si Cheng, I hid the candies that were in your little cat by your computer." If looks could kill, I'd be way past dead. His face was priceless. He looked around for something else to throw at me, but, thankfully, found nothing. He walked back into his room, giving me a dirty look as he turned around. I was practically on my hands and knees at this point. The others came out of their rooms, hearing the ruckus. They decided it was better not to ask.

.........................

Once everyone was up and presentable, they made their way down for breakfast. We all sat down at the table, the boys eating their breakfast.

"So, Ming, are you really going to retire and who have you chosen to replace you?" I asked.

"Yeah... I'm retiring after the Spring Playoffs. I've picked a girl to replace me. Smiling is her gaming name." Ming said sadly. I nodded. She sounds nice!

"Rui, may I go with you when you go to pick her up?" I asked.

"She hasn't agreed yet, but if she does, then yes." Rui said. I punched the air. Yay! Another girl to hang out with! I'm really excited to meet her.

"Oh! Cheng, I was gaming last night since my insomnia decided that I didn't get to sleep last night and I went up against a gamer named 'Hierophant'. Who's he?" I asked, remembering what I was going to ask. The look on his face wasn't the best.

"Do you remember my friend from Korea?" He said, solemnly.

"Oh! The one that was super nice and I couldn't believe you had managed to be friends with? Your one and only friend at the time? That guy?" I asked, sitting up a bit straighter. He nodded, rolling his eyes. The other's laughed. (A/n: I may or may not be basing Y/n's character on me a bit, but since I am a hardcore introvert, I would never say any of this out loud unless I am with family or a friend that I have known for at least 8 years. 🥲👍 Making friends is hard.)

"Oh! Well, he's a really good player. He beat me last night. I'm impressed!" I said, smiling. He nodded again.

"He's one of the best players I have ever known." Cheng said, reminiscing. I nod. Those two had been pretty close by all that Cheng had told me about him. They had this weird thing with Rubics Cubes, though.

"Oh, also, I asked for a week off of work for the Spring Playoffs. I hope you guys won't mind if I crash here and help the new girl settle in, right?" I said. They all nodded consent.

"It'll be nice to have someone help her settle in." Ming said.

"I'll decorate her room!" Fatty said, excitedly putting his hand up in the air. I laugh, quietly.

"Ok, Fatty, you can decorate her room. Don't go too all out on the pink, though. I might surprise you by saying that a lot of girls, not all, don't particularly favor the color pink." I said, cringing slightly on the inside. Her room is going to be terrible if I don't nip it in the bud real fast. He nodded, slightly downcast. I pat myself on the back for solving that problem slightly before it got  out of hand.

K looked like he didn't like the prospect of having a teammate other than Ming. That' going to cause some problems later. Lao Mao looked excited about it, but he was a little thick headed so I didn't want to question him on why he was so happy when he hadn't even met her yet. Well, let's hope nothing bad happens.

"Well, what are the plans for today?" I asked of no one in particular.

"We're going to be doing a practice match then doing nothing for the rest of the day." K said. "As far as my personal plans go, I am going to be doing my skincare routine today." I nodded, expecting nothing less of him. I laughed in my head. K's funny.
