Muta roared, chasing after the guards to clear Baron's path to the stairwell.
"I'll cover you!" Muta nodded.
"Thanks!" Baron gasped, running up the stairs.

Lune rushed out to Natori, who stared at the wall in sheer fear.
"Where is father?"
"Up there!" His general pointed up, Natori trembling.
The cat king clawed on the tower wall, scrambling up, determined.
"Father, it's dangerous! Please come down! He's out of his mind!"
Natori rushed into the tower," I'll bring him back!"

Hikari jogged up the stairs, panting. She couldn't get tired, so she refused to get tired. Baron was three stairwells below her, glancing up to try to find where the girl was. The king climbed into a window, throwing a sword at the feline. Baron dodged, holding his top hat.
"We'll settle this with a duel!" The king howled.
"With pleasure!" Baron scoffed, tugging the sword out of the wall.
Muta arrived behind him, frowning," Baron?"
"Take care of Hikari," Baron nodded.
"Right," Muta hummed, rushing past, up the stairs. Baron jumped outside a window, the king chasing after him. Hikari jogged up the stairs. She panted, slowing down. Peering up, there was only a couple of steps and then she was there. The gateway.

On a platform outside a window, Baron stood at the edge, the King closer to the window. Each raised their swords above their heads, glaring at each other; Baron's hat, waistcoat and cane waiting on the window sill. The cat king yowled, running forward, making the first move. Baron, too, ran towards him; unfazed. As their blades connected, Baron jumped over the king, landing neatly beside the window. The king panted, glaring at him. That was until the purple eye jewel, in the middle of his head, shattered. He yowled in agony, all the fur from below his waist shaved off into a pile. The king collapsed onto his knees, Baron swiped his sword, smugly.
"I win, Cat King."
"Fiddlesticks!"

Hikari peered up at the sky, her hair billowing.

"I heard about the cat in the top hat and tails," The king scowled," But I never dreamed you were this smooth. I heard you spend your days in some shop window."

Hikari pushed her head up, pulling herself up onto the ledge. She gasped in horror at the sight below.

"You should have come to my kingdom and joined me."
Baron turned to him," I'm quite happy with life just as it is."
There was a loud scream from above, Baron's eyes widened; recognising the voice, looking up.

"WHERE IN THE WORLD AM I!?" Hikari screamed.
The fog above parted, as she held onto the platform, trying her best to not slip. Below was her world, but she was far high up in the sky, among the clouds.

"What have you done!?" Baron snapped, raising his voice.
The cat king burst into laughter," I didn't do a thing. Now that the tower has collapsed, who knows where the exit leads?"
Baron chucked the sword aside, grabbing his items," I must go!"
The king burst into another roar of laughter.

Yuki and Lune, along with the other servants watched Hikari through a crystal ball.
"Miss Hikari," Natoru frowned.
"I should have foreseen this," Lune groaned.
"But look!" Yuki gasped," She's a demon again!"
They watched, as Hikari's crouch slowly morphed into standing up. Her ears, tail and fur all faded, turning back into a demon. But with that, her keen cat-like balance faded. The girl yelped, struggling to balance on the small ledge and the strong wind current.
"Ugh- Ah! No! I think I'm going to fall!" Hikari yelped, trying her best to keep her legs from trembling," I can't keep my balance-!"

Baron ran up the stairs, grimacing.
"HIKARIII!"

Hikari squinted, staring down at the sight of the Devildom, below the clouds. The only thing stopping her from falling was her hands tightly holding Muta's arms. The only issue was, she was back in her normal size now and so was Muta.
"Muta-!" Hikari groaned," Please don't say I'm heavy!"
Muta looked squeezed against the wall, as if his eyes were about to pop out.
"Okay-...!" He grimaced,"...But before we do this again..." He was slipping down more and more," lose a little weight, will you?"
Hikari screamed, both her and Muta clinging onto each other as they fell down. They practically rolled down in the sky, spinning. Muta grimaced, both trying their best to cling on.
"I can't hold on!" Hikari grimaced, clenching her teeth from the sheer force of the wind.
Baron soared down, holding on tightly to his top hat," HIKARI!"
The cat collided into them, Hikari now clinging onto Muta with him pulled into her chest. She screamed, Baron hitting them made them plummet faster, as he held onto her by his cane attached to her collar.
"WE'RE GOING TO DIEEEE!" Hikari wailed.
"We're not dead yet!" Baron yelled over the wind, clinging onto his hat," Look down!"
"What?!" Hikari sobbed, turning to look at him.
"Don't be afraid! Just look down!"
"I CAN'T!"
"TRUST ME!"

Hikari braced herself, before slowly opening her eyes. She gasped, slowly loosening her grip on the two, holding each of their paws as they fell slowly.
"Are we still alive?" Hikari grimaced.
"Yes!" Baron nodded.
"Probably," Muta groaned.
A bright light clouded over the girl's eyes, she squinted over it, glancing at the source. It was the sun, breaking from the clouds. She gasped, looking down with a grin.
"It just hit me!" The girl exclaimed," I think we look pretty cool!"
From below, a flock of something black approached. Hikari grimaced, the feeling of something soft, thumping over her. Feathers!? They landed on a ramp of the things, stumbling down into a walk.
"What's this!?" Muta yowled.
"It's a flock of crows!" Hikari gasped, walking on them, dropping Muta for him to walk, whereas Baron sat on her shoulder.
"And just in time," Baron smiled.
Toto swooped down, smiling, smugly," Hey, Muta! How do you like being saved by birds?"
"Toto!" Hikari grinned.
Muta scowled," It's that lousy blackbird!"
"Thanks, Toto!" Baron nodded.
"Good thing my friends were waiting up here," Toto hummed.
"Doesn't it hurt to be walked on?" Hikari frowned.
"You're light as a feather, Hikari."
"Really?"
Muta scowled," I disagree!"
"Look, Hikari!" Baron pointed at the building the bird path led to.
"It's the school!" Hikari gasped," I'm home! I made it back! Thank you so much, everyone!"

Natori glanced out of a window, climbing out to the cat king, who stared out glumly.
"Your Majesty!"
"Natori, I think it's time for me to retire."
Natori nodded," Then I shall join you, Sire."
