Here I am, once more,
And there go my friends,
Clicking their tongues,
As they catch me gazing at you again.
They find it peculiar,
And for that, I apologize,
I apologize for any misunderstanding. In a room filled with faces,
My gaze is drawn to you,
It takes an eternity,
For me to tear my eyes away.
And for that, I am sorry,
But I assure you, I'm no creep,
Just a curious observer. As I study every facet of you,
I find myself questioning,
Beyond your traits,
What else drew me to you?
When there's someone else out there,
Who could offer me more.Someone else,
Who could shower me with love,
Yet, it's you I'm drawn to, not "them".
And yet, I anticipate nothing from you,
While harboring this quiet affection,
So, I wonder why,
Why you, out of everyone else?Because, to be honest,
I have no clue,
How or when I developed these feelings,
It simply occurred one day,
That my thoughts were filled with you,
Fueling my curiosity,
To discover who you truly are.I yearn to learn more about you,
And I know,
Whatever I uncover,
Will be embraced by my heart,
Because it's you,
Because I want to know you,
And I harbor no fear in this desire.Oh, I'm ensnared,
So effortlessly, without breaking a sweat,
It's a mystery to me,
When these feelings will cease.
I can sense it in my gut,
That this journey is far from over,
Even after a million seconds.—ancn.
